Belmont Catering — Local services in Dayton

October 13th, 2024 we held a Celebration of Life for my wife. I live in Tempe Arizona but our first home together was in Belmont. I contacted John and was immediately impressed with his friendly response to our needs and willingness to make this a special occasion for me, my daughters & son. Whenever I had questions John called back promptly and helped me so much.

Trying to arrange an event with all the distance between us eventually became a non - issue. Once I arrived back in Dayton I looked forward to meeting John. I stopped in the day before our event and we talked like two old friends for 45 minutes catching up on life. With his schedule I was very impressed that he gave me that time. I feel I made a friend in John for life that weekend.

He and his staff were so efficient and the food looked so great and ready to serve promptly. Our guests commented so highly of the presentation, taste and variety of foods. I highly recommend Belmont Catering for all your catering needs. I personally assure you that you will be in great hands with John and his staff.

John, thank you so much for making our Celebration of Life so memorable. Whenever I get back to Dayton to visit my siblings, I will stop in to say “hello” and get a box lunch with that great POTATO SALAD!

Ordered potato salad and a veggie tray for a graduation party. Potato salad was good.

The veggie tray was listed as having Celery, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, radishes, tri-colored peppers, grape tomatoes, and green beans to serve 20-35 people. We got only green peppers, a single cucumber sliced up and spread around, 2 radishes, not a single green bean, some carrots, and a handful of grape tomatoes carefully arranged on top of 75% celery to look fancy. This is not at all what I was expecting with the expense and explanation of what it includes. I could have bought a ton of celery and cut it up for 10.00 if that’s what I wanted. Over all not disappointed enough to request a refund but would never order this again and wanted to warn others that if your expecting a nice selection of veggies in a nice tray, your getting mostly celery with a few...

We worked with John for an outreach fundraiser this year, he was an absolute blessing. He helped us find a very nice menu within our price range and maneuvered the menu around our vision, taste, and dietary needs. I can’t say enough about his character, attitude, and integrity, he did everything with a smile and enthusiasm. He returned my phone calls and emails promptly and communicated his ideas and execution well and was just as excited and committed as we were for the success of our event. The food was delicious and we received many compliments about the dinner and overheard many happy, approving sounds as people ate. We would definitely use Belmont Catering again.
