FYI: If you pay cash- they DO NOT give change back- they just round UP your total after taxes!! And if you pay with a card, it is posted that there is a 3% surcharge added. So either way you pay, you are FORCED to pay more.
I wasnt made aware of this prior to the transaction today nor was it posted (which is a legal requirement) I was only made aware once I inquired about my total being more than I expected- only then was I told about the no change policy. (So for cash paying customers, they are making an additional 1-99 cents (of your money) for every single cash transaction simply by refusing to provide change. Im not sure when they started this ridiculous policy but my family & I have been there at least 10 times this summer and its disappointing that we werent ever informed of this until today and only because I inquired further about my total with the worker after it was higher than I expected. I informed them it was illegal to not have it posted nor to inform me prior- they seemed annoyed by me. We will not be back. Post that info or inform your customers prior to ordering as legally required or better yet, quit doing that altogether. If its not your policy and your workers are simply pocketing your customer's change without your knowledge then that should also be addressed...
Read moreSuper bummed. We’ve been going here for years.. we were devastated when the old owners said they were closing.. but then they were bought out! But it’s never been the same. First time was amazing.. but after that it’s been terrible. They are ALWAYS out of something. The kids working have no clue what’s going on. We waited in line for 25 mins for TWO CARS infront of us. Just to receive the wrong thing. Decided to try them one more time. I’m not sure if the management hasn’t trained them or just doesn’t care but they don’t know who ordered what, made the same product 3 times and tried to give it to us 2 times after telling them what we ordered every time. This is why they are probably out of everything. I have ordered a scoop of cotton candy hand dipped a few times and every time the scoop gets smaller and smaller. This time it looked like the scoop fell off and they just said ehh give it to her anyway one of us ordered a soft serve cone. It was 4x the height of the hand dipped one scoop.(wish I took a photo) Soo disappointing for a local small business. All we want to do is support local business as we both work for one. But the lack of management and training is going to ruin this place.. BRING BACK THE OLD...
Read moreThis place is so unorganized. We ordered & paid for the ice cream cones and after ten minutes of waiting, we were told that the swirl was unavailable. So, instead of the swirl, we opted for a vanilla cone. It took another five minutes. Then the KI Blue that I waited an additional ten plus minutes for was also decided to be unavailable. I don’t understand how they can remain in business if this is a typical experience. I saw at least 5 girls working, then at least three more people showed up and I still couldn’t get my ice cream. Apparently you’re supposed to stand in the driveway to order and wait for your order. Seems like an accident just waiting to happen if you have children with you. This business is need of someone to actually manage it. I would think that it has the potential to be a great place to go if there was maybe more structure and not a bunch of people just...
