My experience with this place is for my birthday I was waiting 45 minutes for help with my slot machine and years back Hollywood gaming is horrible it takes all my money and never give me nothing and I'm leaving here my experience with this casino for the last 6 years , for all over the years I lost around $30,000 and never get not even the 10% of it. I get bonuses and the payout is horrible ,I went to Indiana casino the other day and the payout is a 100% much better, Hollywood is only for loss money, I give you a lot of chances to improve my review but there's no way I can do that because losing money all the time and your system support only the high gamblers I see that in the promotion you guys have every Saturday call the same people high gamblers every Saturday, and some of them you call them two times same Saturday, and because your system only take my money, last weekend I lost$1,000 dls and only got ¢23 back , yesterday and today I lost $500 and only got ¢17 back. This casino is not paying minority and frequent costumers, their system is paid for đ¤ only I see that every time I come here, same crap, how can I recommend this place if every time I come in I lost . On the aforementioned date, I arrived at the casino, as I have done many times before, with the intention of enjoying some leisure time and celebrating my birthday with my friends and family. Unfortunately, my visit took a distressing turn due to the behavior of an unidentified individual who later turned out to be a security guard. This individual approached me while I was engrossed in a gaming session, demanding that I vacate my seat at the slot machine I was playing, which happened to be on the verge of triggering a jackpot. It is essential to note that this individual was not wearing a uniform or any recognizable identification, which added to the confusion of the situation entirely.
My initial reaction was to comply with the request, as I did not realize the person was a security guard, given the absence of any clear identification. In retrospect, I believe this situation could have been resolved much more amicably had the individual properly identified himself and calmly communicated the reason for requesting me to leave the machine.
In the aftermath of this incident, I reached out to the casino on multiple occasions, seeking clarification on whether there was any issue that would hinder my return. Each time, I was assured that there was no ban in place, and I was indeed permitted to return and play any game available. However, my most recent visit 10/29/23 was marred by an unfortunate encounter with the same individual, who created a scene that disrupted my birthday celebration and led to my ejection from the premises.
I want to emphasize that my intention is not to engage in any conflicts or disruptions during my visits to Hollywood Casino Dayton Raceway. As a weekly member of the Penn Play Club, I have consistently enjoyed the amenities and atmosphere of your establishment. I was once a premier member, and I have been diligently working to restore my tier status, which I am on the brink of achieving. The incident I experienced has left me feeling discouraged and disheartened, as it is not the kind of experience I expect when visiting your casino. I have still not cashed out my earnings from this location.
My family and I have been planning to relocate to another casino due to the unprofessional handling of this situation. However, I am writing this letter with the hope of a resolution that would allow us to continue enjoying the Raceway as valued members of the Penn Play Club. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter, ensuring that my future visits are free from harassment and disruptions.
I would appreciate a "Help" type resolution, one that addresses the miscommunication and ensures that such incidents do not occur in the future. Hollywood Casino Dayton Raceway is conveniently located for my family, and it would be a great loss if we were to discontinue our patronage.

Other than that, your typical racino. Hollywood at Dayton is my go to for a fun night with friends & or family. BUFFALO!
UPDATE- Stopped in to use my free play, was playing at a game close to the main isle way. i noticed a phone laying in the middle of the isle and picked it up in hopes the owner would come back looking for the phone. i placed the phone on my machine in clear visible sight. I did open the phone to see if it was on or had a lost message. I did not go through the phone. my thought was surly they would come around and i could return the phone to the owner & if they didnât by the time i was done playing i would hand it to security on my way out the door. Shortly after i found it, Justin with security comes over to me very rudely, says you shouldnât take things that donât belong to you. He also said i seen you going through the phone & i need your I.D. I instantly got defensive & questioned why the need for my I.D. He responds in case you try to take anything that doesnât belong to you again i need to write your name down. he walks away as the owner of the phone comes up to me & i explain to her where i found it. sheâs thanks me 7 times. Justin returns my ID, im clearly not happy with what happened as i feel Justin has made me feel as if i did something wrong. Justin was extremely rude, nasty, & WRONG! I go express to him that he should really check the video as i did nothing wrong, he says you better stop talking to me if you wanna remain in here. telling me he will throw me out if i donât stop talking. embarrassed & infuriated i go the cage and proceed to ask for a manager to speak with, the staff at the cage tell me to come back later as the manager isnât available at this time. never in my life have I felt so disrespected & embarrassed for trying to do a good thing!!!!!
