Airway Billiards Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Ohio

My husband and I stopped in last night to shoot pool and enjoy the late night food that we'd heard so many great things about. As soon as we walked in we noticed that the carpet was extremely old and being held together by duct tape nearly every square foot. This wasn't too concerning since a lot of businesses on the west side of the interstate fail to update/reinvest in their establishments but still offer a pleasant experience. We proceed to order our food, drinks, and rented our pool table. Everything is ok at this point but that changed quickly. As my husband shot pool I noticed a small critter running under a table behind him. This made me extremely uncomfortable as I have an overwhelming fear of mice. When our food finally came out I could not eat it due to my skin crawling and stomach turning. My husband took a picture of the mouse and I pretty much wanted to leave at that point.

When we go to close our tab we ask for my meal to be taken off, as I didn't eat it after being disgusted by the mouse. The bartender was sweet and understanding however, after she spoke to the owner/manager he wasn't willing to comp the meal. The bartender was frustrated, and so were we! He wasn't even willing to come out of the kitchen to speak with us. We didn't feel we were being unreasonable, so we patiently waited to speak with him for about 10 minutes. He never came out and we could hear him upset in the back. Finally, the bartender closed the tab and removed my meal. This was our first time attending and we'll never support this...

The food is amazing. Especially if you go during the daytime (like 1030 am -2pm) on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. They have daily food specials. Angie is a great cook! Atmosphere is kind "blah" but if you're going to play pool that's your vibe right there. Music option is a juke box. They have a full bar. And the service is good as well. They have regular customers who are just as friendly as the staff. You will definitely fit right on...

The place is in serious need of an overhaul. The woman running the place has a nasty attitude, The carpet is held together with masking tape, and the tables we played on were stained even the sign on the roof was falling apart. As far as the food , My wife got sick. We'll be looking for a better billiards hall to play pool...
