I’ll start by saying that the check in, pro shop and course conditions were great. However, the Starter was a jerk, we had a big group join for a round, some drove from out of town to participate in our group function. From the second that we pulled up to the starter, he had an attitude and a smart mouth over nothing. He hassled all of us again, for no real reason. After the turn, we pulled to our truck in the parking lot to grab sweat rag and phone charger, he chased us down in the parking lot and acting as if we were doing something wrong and watched us the whole time until we pulled off.Completely unprofessional and for as much money as we spent, you would think that they would want to encourage participants to continue to stay around and generate extra money for the course. However, it felt more as if we were being targeted and scrutinized for absolutely no reason other than this guy having a power trip. We will not be going back due to his behavior alone. Daytona Beach Golf Club is a nice municipal golf course. I found the woman in the Pro Shop to be very pleasant & quite helpful. The Starter was a little "gruff". We had a 9:30 tee time on the South Course and he said "You're playing the North Course. Men's League has the South. Other players are waiting on the tee".

Driving range was "adequate" as was the putting green. The overall condition of the North Course was good for early March. The Tif-Eagle greens rolled very true and were fairly fast. The only drawback was that they would not hold a ball. Approach shots must be high and soft to have any chance of staying on the green. This course is flat but has a LOT of water on it.

What a wonderful layout, friendly staff and beautiful course. My husband and I played this municipal course today and we found the course from the back tees, challenging, but very fair. The greens were rolled nicely and fast. The course has had a lot of rain, but only a couple fairways were cart path only. Some holes had water that came into play, but this was just a lovely course. We both carry handicaps of 12-15 and just thoroughly enjoyed the layout. The golf shop was very well stocked, very professional looking and a variety of golf items to purchase. If we are in the are again, we would definitely play this course. We did not eat in their restaurant or have any of the food on site, so I cannot rate the decor,...
