Experience was Okay at best.... Just got off work doing a tree removal in the area spent the day up in the tree was dirty grimy grubby from head to toe... After today's job was in dire need of consumables for a few of our Stihl tree Saws simple Google search informed us that this was the closest Stihl dealership... Throughout my journey It's a navigated the store walked by multiple employees\staff that were more interested in talking to one another and asking other more properly well-dressed and clean cut office type customers if they needed any assistance and such... after standing there feeling my behevement morphing into perturbment was informed which Ended Rather abruptly that actually they do not have a service center. And was given the fleet farm salute over to the Stihl section... upon arriving at the so-called Stihl section Which comprised of like four chains a couple bars nothing more than 16 in like three files along with their inventory only inventory of Stihl battery operated equipment.... I had to poke myself in the eye cuz thought I was dreaming that was in California! Little did any of the staff know that I owned this company and was out giving it with my staff today and have been in the market for a battery saw to test with a goal of converting the 8 or so tree saws we have and would have gladly boughten a battery operated chainsaw from them if they were a little bit more cordial, less predisposed As my appearance would align with spending a hard hot day hanging from a rope wielding a chainsaw 75 ft up in a tree. I had been going to the True Value in Menomonee Falls, WI for 25+ years prior to my move to Green Bay in 2019. I have ALWAYS been pleased and impressed with the staff and selection of items in my "old" True Value, so checked out this one shortly after my move. This one is the same: same very knowledgeable, hard working, and friendly staff and great selection of items. I will always support these small locally owned hardware stores over the big box stores. Most of the kids that work at the big box stores seem to not care. They never seem to have what I need, even though their amount of stock is so much larger. True Value always has what I need. If it's not exactly the same as what I need, the staff and I work out to substitute items and those almost always work out. Plus, I like the smaller size of True Value. Great experience here! I recently purchased a piece of equipment from them and I live in Illinois so it was a good 4 hour drive for me. However, since the price was good and the customer interaction was great, I decided to go ahead with it. When I arrived all of the staff was super friendly and got me situated right away. When I was going back to load the truck, I realized my front tire was loosing air. The staff quickly brought an air compressor out and we noticed it was just a lose tire valve stem. Thankfully, they helped me out, tighten the stem up and filled the tire back and it was good to go. Not only did they make the whole process easy and effortless, but they went above and beyond and helped me out! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for equipment or any other items!...
