Restoration Clinic — Local services in Decatur

I had high hopes that this would be a great place to come to when I needed to see a physician, but oh how they proved me wrong. The staff was nice, but nice doesn't matter when you are there because you need help,and you give them $105 upfront in cash ,and you basically get told you need to leave. I went here because I was fighting a bad sinus infection,or so I thought,and took my dad with me for him to receive treatment as well,as he had some of the same symptoms I had. Dad being 79 years old,I was more concerned about him. After making the payments and filling out all the paperwork, they took us both back and put us in the same room,which I thought was pretty convenient. After getting triaged,the nurse said the doctor would be in shortly. We waited about fifteen minutes and the nurse comes back and swabs our noses,and our throats,and again tells us the doc would be in shortly. After waiting about 5 minutes,the nurse opens the door to the room, and lets us know that one of us had COVID, and asked us to leave,and to go to the vehicle and wait for a phone call. Never got a chance to see the doctor to try and get our diagnosis for our ailments, I needed to get another issue addressed and never got that chance. After being thrown out of the building and not knowing which one of us had COVID, they finally call and let us know that I had COVID and that dad's test stated that he was negative for it, they instructed us to go to the pharmacy and get our medicine,as they would treat us both for COVID. This was the most unprofessional doctors visit I have ever had, not to mention being treated like trash. I get that I had COVID ,and that there were others to think of and their health, but this could've been handled so much better. I will not return back to this place, and I will also pray for these people. If you claim to be such good Christians, you should ask yourselves "What would Jesus do" before you treat people the way you treated us. May want to rethink your christian values if this is the way you treat...

They are dishonest with their billing. I am not the only one, there are several, several other patients that have gone there and their bill will be paid in full when they left but when they came back to make another appointment they would not be seen because they would have a balance due that was inaccurate. They would bill you for a phone visit you missed but the phone visit was never scheduled and you never asked to even schedule a phone visit. Or they would bill you for something else just random and say that they had to add that to the bill last time that I was there. However, like I said before when I left the last time I was there I made sure that my bill was at zero and that I owe them no money and that I paid them for everything that was owed and they verbally told me that would be all that I'd be billed for and that I would not owe them anything else for that visit. But when I go to schedule another visit I owe them money and they will not see me because of bogus billing charges. I do not recommend and highly stressed for nobody to go to that place because I'm not the only one that this has happened to. There has been more than 10 people that I know of myself that they have done this to. I would love to go back if they would change and get rid of some employees who are dishonest and not full of integrity however it is still going on and it's been going on for years in the billing department. And the person working the front desk is rude when you ask them about it. So please read my review and take it into great consideration when you are trying to find a doctor or a walk-in clinic. Try Fast Pace I've not had any...

Love this place.. they have gone out of thier way to help me and my son. I would recommend this place to anyone... And i dont agree with the review of being treated so rudely by any of the woman there.. Personally i have dealt with all of them and I have also had a bill situation amd they helped me out and did an awesome job.. Did it ever occur to you that maybe you had the attitude and sh was just picking up on your attitude. I mean if you treat someone with kindness then it will be recieved. As for the christian based atmosphere I have opened my bible more since i have went to this office and helped me so much spirituality that I just dont know what office you went to. They have neber treated me as if i was what did u calk it a pill shopper or whatever if maybe u didnt put yourself out there. I mean this office has helped me on so many levels and it makes me sad that with one "bad " visit made u make such a horrible post. I wish you well with all your future health problems down the way and I will pray that you get better in mind and in spirits. This is a review for all so i am aloud to speak my opinion.
