Super cute small-town bookstore with a pretty good selection of books! The staff weren't very kind though and not what I would expect from a small town. My daughter and I are touring indie bookstores each winter and we went to Decorah specifically for the bookstores. We bought $70 worth of books but when we asked to use the bathroom they wouldn't allow it. She also kept asking if we needed help -- and not in a kind way but more in assumption that we were stealing or something. And then she had the nerve to hand us a pamphlet on information of how to buy and ship to our house after our purchase -- like I'd go out of my way to buy from them when I couldn't even use their restroom after a 1.5 hour...

I love this bookstore so much. I always get good recommendations from the staff, check out the sale boxes of kids books in the back and they have interesting rotating displays and current new releases.
