Bowling was great. Service was atrocious! Stood at the bar way too long to be asked what we needed mean while others that got there after us were serviced first. They would literally walk right past us. Last time we went to the bar there was one guy that was very busy but very friendly and did his job by attending to people in the order they approached which I appreciated. I bartend in NY, it’s sad that only one person in the whole establishment didn’t make us feel like we weren’t good enough to be there. We finished bowling and went to the axe throwing. We were told to have everyone in our party of 4 use the QR code to sign the waivers and she would get someone to help us set up our lane. Waivers signed, waited, waited, waited. My mom went to the var to try and get the attention of the lady that told us she was getting someone, just for her to WALK PAST HER !!!! I was getting irritated but said ok im going to use the restroom its already been a decent amount of time they should be around by the time I come out of the restroom. Nope I was sadly mistaken. We spent half an hour waiting for someone to come “help us”! I looked at my mom and brothers and said just finish your drinks im over it i want to go home. Mind you it was my birthday and I was looking forward to axe throwing since we got into town on the 24th! I am 100% pulling the race card because there is no way everyone who didn’t look like us was being service with no problem but we could barely get 99% of the staff to even look at us ! Literally give it one star for the one employee that was...

We had such a wonderful time at Kingpin Entertainment in Decorah, Iowa! I visited with my two small children, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. We bowled together and spent time in the arcade, and both activities were not only fun but also family-friendly.

What really stood out to me was how welcoming and kind the staff were. Every worker we interacted with had a smile, made us feel comfortable, and went out of their way to ensure we were having a great time. That kind of hospitality makes such a big difference when you’re visiting with young kids.

The atmosphere was upbeat and inviting, the games kept the kids entertained for hours, and bowling was the perfect activity for the whole family to enjoy together. It’s definitely a place we’ll come back to again and again when we’re in the area.

Wow! If we could give King Pin ten stars, we definitely would. A great new upscale sports bar/restaurant/arcade/ bowling alley/ax throwing. Fun entertainment for the entire family.

We loved the trendy architecture of high ceilings, simple clean lines, huge horseshoe bar, handicap accessibility and spaciousness. Friendly accommodating staff.

We ordered the King Pin steak and cheese sandwich, fries and coleslaw. Absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chefs (behind the scenes) who plated our delicious meal to perfection. A special shout out to to our waitress Kyna and server Nita. Their warm hospitality made us feel so welcomed.

A great place to unwind, kick back, and enjoy a meal. Worth the drive from anywhere. Highly recommend!
