During the in person meeting with John I said I wanted to walk down the aisle to the typical “here comes the bride”song. He acknowledged this. I asked someone to tell the dj I wanted that for a second time after he recommended a different song during a busy and stressful time and I said sure to it and didn’t realize what I was saying yes to (at the most inappropriate time when we were behind schedule and during a moment that was special to us before our first look). I think they forgot to tell him differently right after though so I walked down the aisle to a terrible song I have never heard of which is unacceptable. Period. I’ve thought about how terrible the dj was everyday since the wedding. Just the beginning of him not listening to my requests. There was also audio issues during the ceremony. Our officiant also said my name wrong during- It would have been great if the DJ went over our names before handing her the microphone.. The dj should think of those things since he mentioned in our first meeting that people say inappropriate things with a microphone at weddings.

I emailed a detailed outline of songs/bands I wanted played during downtime and the dance so there wasn’t any questions the day of what we wanted to have played and maybe less than five were played. I did not want todays music played like Taylor swift and Ed sheeran but it was played for example. During our sunset photos I heard Taylor swift and it’s those little things that you think about the next day that are upsetting. It was generic overplayed music the entire night. It wasn’t the music we would have wanted for our wedding. People at the wedding came up to us and said they were requesting songs and the dj didn’t listen. People closest to us said the music was not what we liked as a couple and it was apparent. You’d think the dj would listen to our requests. I spent a lot of time thinking what I wanted played at my wedding, and even spent the time to make an outline while having a newborn.. I wasn’t impressed at all. I tried to really communicate what I wanted and what my expectations l were. I expect someone I’m paying to listen and deliver- he did not. I even asked the dj to tell a story about why I chose a game before dinner and he didn’t. He also didn’t tell our story of how we met when I asked him to and it was even in his outline.

I did not dance at my wedding and none of our friends that typically dance at weddings did either. I truly have thought about this everyday since our wedding- I regret hiring him.

Working with Pinnacle Productions was such an ease in our wedding planning process. Early on we had a meeting with Chris Hintz to select a DJ for our wedding and we knew we wanted it to be Chris. He not only is a DJ but has so many great ideas on what we could do to help make our day unique to what we wanted. He truly is an expertise in all things wedding and was a great resource to have during the wedding planning process. Not only was Chris great but the entire pinnacle production team was fantastic to work with. Everyone answered questions in a timely manner, attended requested meetings, and really put forth the effort to make the day so special for us! At the wedding everything flowed with such ease and a huge part of this was due to working a head of time with the pinnacle production team. Never did we feel pressure or unheard when we presented ideas to the team on what we wanted! The wedding reception was a party that we never wanted to end! We could have danced and been there until the break of dawn if we were allowed to! It truly was the best time and every person in attendance said the same thing! If you are on the fence about booking pinnacle productions or working with Chris this is your sign to do it! You won’t regret one second of it and will have memories to last a lifetime...

What can I say, when we first got engaged me and my wife sat down and talked about what was most important on our wedding day. Outside of just getting married my number one answer was hands down the DJ, We choose to work with Pinnacle productions and more importantly Chris Hintz and all I can say is we made the right decision. From helping us plan the reception to making sure the sound was perfect so everyone could hear the speeches. Chris absolutely knocked it through the roof. He kept the dance floor rocking all night. He was such a blast to work with he took our playlist and created a mashup of songs that just made the whole night amazing. I put in special requests as close as 2 days before the event and Chris delivered. He made a special mashup song for my wife for the Father/Daughter dance. He played our slide show and after the wedding I cant even count how many people told me that we had just an amazing DJ.
