My family and I just had a terrible haunted hayride experience. The Nissan Pathfinder which was used to pull the hayride did not have a muffler making it very loud and smelly and the car overheated during the ride causing plumes of white smoke and the smell of burning coolant to fill the air. After explaining what happened during the ride to the owner, she refused to acknowledge any problems, and responded in a nasty and unprofessional manner, insisting the vehicle was in working order. She did give us our money after several minutes, but I feel awful for the other riders who were not given the refund. We didn't even intend to ask for a refund when we began speaking to the owner, but we found her unpleasantness so frustrating!
Also, there are benches to sit on while waiting for the hayride and one member of our group almost sat on a nail coming out of the wood. Another member of the group had a nail poke his sweatshirt while riding in the wagon.
