This is a wonderful shop in the heart of Dennis Village on Cape Cod. It's located in an old Captain's house & there are 18 vendors selling all sorts of interesting vintage goods, rustic farmhouse furnishings, trunks, artwork, lamps, linen, clothing, housewares, tables, antiques & so much more. You never know what you'll find. It's decorated beautifully & such a fun place to bring friends & family visiting from off Cape. Gatherings by the Sea also holds "Second Saturday Gatherings" - an Outdoor Vintage Market series held the 2nd Saturday of each month throughout the summer months from 9-3pm...lots of different vendors sell goods outside; heavy rain cancels the outdoor portion. Shop stays open till 5pm during 2nd Saturdays. 14 rooms full of unique items that are stocked constantly! Summer hours are 7 days a week from 10'ish-5'ish. My fiance` and I stumbled upon this place one Sunday just looking for something to do. SO glad we did! It is our new favorite place to explore! The antiques are unique and VERY reasonably priced. I love to see how the artists restore them in such creative ways. And it's never the same when you go in. We have found and purchased many treasures! The women who work there are all so talented and so friendly. I almost hesitate to write this review because I want to keep this little gem of a place...
