Linn's Super Market — Local services in Des Moines

I can't say anything for the supermarket but the haunted house was awesome, even though I almost got kicked out at the starting gate.

When you walk in the tiny shack in the alley and pay your way, you look down and right away you have to crawl through a hole in the wall. This is where I messed up. It was pitch black and instinctively pulled out my phone flashlight. This is a huge no no, and ultimately ruined the first surprise which bummed me out a little. I shouldn't have done it and I'm well aware of that. Please don't ruin the fun like I almost did.

You crawl on across nice carpet and come to a shallow slide and continue on through the attractions. I won't say anymore to ruin the fun but trust me you will love it, and this is coming from a very jumpy person. It's a good length and no "blood and gore." It's more about catching you off guard and surprising you.

Super friendly staff and they have been doing this for YEARS. Good value at $15. Probably the most fun I've ever had at a haunted house (we were seriously considering paying to go through again). We couldn't stop talking about it the whole ride home. I highly recommend if you want a quality haunted house attraction for a reasonable price that is fun for most ages. Update: SuperMarket: rating 0 out of 5 The Supermarket itself is Trash. They don't have fresh food. The owners are rude. They apparently have beef with the Haunted house itself? They got into a lawsuit battle with the Haunted house. It boils down to them wanting to toss OUT LINNS HAUNTED HOUSE even to my knowledge that they have a written agreement. This is so disheartening to see, not very professional. BOYCOTT this place, don't buy anything from them.
