The tech was greatā¦friendly, knowledgeable, fastā¦ordered the part, installed it for $65, working fine. Howeverā¦.our overall experience was not great. First of all, they charged us an extra $45 on top of the $99 service/diagnostic fee because I live in Polk City (and the woman I talked to didnāt mention that extra till Iād already booked the appt). Now I can see charging a little extra, maybe $10, but $45 to drive an extra 10 minutes??? Also, I called a few other repair shops (Sears and Hometown) to name a couple, and mostly they ācreditedā you the service/diagnostic fee if you went ahead and had the repair done. I assumed it would be the same with Metro (I forgot to ask, shame on me) but it was not. When I talked to the same woman after getting the total repair cost from from the tech, she told me āwe donāt give any credit on the service/diagnostic fee, but you can talk to the tech and see if heāll wave the labor chargeā (yeah right, why would he???) So with a part charge ($181), and a $65 labor charge (which at the very least should have been credited to the $145 service/diagnostic fee) we ended up paying $418. I forgot to add that the tech spent a total of maybe 30 minutes on his two visitsā¦at least they didnāt charge us for two service/diagnostic calls! Honestly, we felt āgougedā and cannot...

Repair guy came out, spent 10 minutes and informed me one of the fans wasn't working on our refrigerator and that if it still doesn't work after he did something to it to call my property manager. 2 hours later nothing was happening, no kicking on, no air cool or anything coming from the fridge. Freezer bone dry and hot as can be. Emailed property manager and was told the office at Metro appliance informed her that the tech had to get a part, "he's on his way back now". 2 hours later, nothing. Took it upon myself to call Metro without going through property manager and when the woman answered the phone from Metro I explained our predicament and that the tech never said anything about getting parts or being back. The woman informed me that she messed up telling my property manager the tech would be back. All techs had gone home for the the weekend (had I been able to call 2 hours previous to this we could have gotten the tech back out...
