Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Des Moines

Went to Perkins on 2/3/25 it was not busy by any means we were sat it took 10 mins for waitress to even acknowledge us and ask us for drinks. Our waitress had 2 tables one in which was leaving and one waiting on food when we arrived it Took an additional 10 mins to come ask if we were ready to order, she then gets another table (still not busy) our food has now taken 45+ mins and she tells the new table sorry for the delay we are working on to go orders then comes to us and says foods delayed for to go orders. She then goes to kitchen the entire diner can hear the staff some of which were complaining. Food finally comes out after over an hour. We were NEVER checked on or asked how the food was the manager personally handed the newest table behind us their food server checked on them asked for refills etc NOT once did she ask if we were good how food was or if we needed refills and both our drinks had been empty for some time. We go to pay the manager cashing out did not even ask how things were just said sorry it took so long for her to get to the register as she was trying to get her cooks to push out to go orders. As a server and manager for over 11years this was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever encountered. We will not being returning to this location nor would i recommend anyone to eat there! If I could have put zero stars I would have!!! The hostess seated me where I ask to be seated the young waitress came and took my order I I let her know that I did not like sausage links and instead of three sausage links and three bacon strips I would rather have 6 bacon strips all Krispy my hash browns I wanted with peppers onions and cheese in them also crispy the French toast I wanted crispy and I wanted a large glass of milk with my meal what I received was three bacon or three bacon strips and three sausage link all barely cooked my hash browns were mushy without any of the stuff I asked for I did not get my glass of milk a few minutes later the waitress came by asked me how was my meal I looked at her I said how would I know I haven't tried any of it because everything is wrong the young waitress left in a huff the host is came back over and asked me what the problem was I explained everything she said I'll take care of it right now and took the food away she brought back four crispy bacon strips my hash brown had cheese and onions and we're crispy the French toast was okay she did not bring my milk though I had to ask for it again and I pointed out that there was only 4 bacon strips and she said I'll take care of that right now and I commence to eating my food the host has brought me a plate with four more bacon strips crispy and my glass of milk so she did resolve my problem but the waitress did not so I tip the hostess but not the waitress the waitress gave me a dirty look as I exited the restaurant but poor service does not reward a tip in any way shape or...

We came in took our seat, ordered our drinks, we got our drinks, 2 coffees and one soda. I didn't get a straw because the waitress was more interested in the drunk guys table sitting next too us. 15 minutes later we stopped the same waitress to get a straw. A few minutes later she came to take our order. We ordered appetizer then what we wanted to eat. 48 minutes went by, everyone around was getting food, drinks, tickets, and sweets. The waitress came over and asked us to reodered our food because she didn't turn in our ticket or the ticket didn't print. So we're an hour and 20 minutes into our dinning experience then here came the waitress to refill up my soda and to give us our appetizers, she said "they put a rush on your order and we gave you half off your app". The chicken strips were ice cold and pink in the middle we were afraid to eat them.
