We recently visited Dr. Greenthumb’s on Eight Mile in Detroit, and it’s safe to say it lives up to its legendary name. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with clean, welcoming vibes and a super helpful and knowledgeable staff who made the experience a breeze.

The dispensary wasn’t busy when we visited (weekday evening), which gave us plenty of time to explore their impressive selection. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or a curious newbie, the budtenders are top-notch—ready to answer any question with confidence and care.

Let’s talk about the product: WOW. The weed here is exactly as promised—great fing weed. The quality of what we purchased was incredible, and the prices were more than fair for the level of excellence. You can feel the legacy and love for cannabis in every part of this place, from the product selection to the laid-back, upbeat atmosphere.

Dr. Greenthumb’s also offers perks like new patient discounts and veteran discounts, which are always appreciated. The whole vibe is just what you’d hope for from a dispensary tied to the iconic Cypress Hill legacy—authentic, uplifting, and unapologetically real.

With that being said I would like to thank "all" of the bud tenders @ Dr. Green Thumb for not just welcoming me with open arms, but also going above and beyond to assist me. For people who travel like myself we all know how uncomfortable it can be to have a bad experience while trying to find the best dispensary to fill your needs. I had the pleasure of meeting the boss/MJ The Trap Queen of Dr. Green Thumb and she did not disappoint me nor did she make me feel rushed or unappreciated while shopping. I saw one of their trucks driving by one day on 8 Mile & it was advertising this dispensary, so I decided to give it a GO!

AND I'M SO GLAD I DID!!!

This dispensary probably has the best deals in Detroit, honestly. Their strains are nice, they have a great variety and the budtenders are really helpful.

I'm always greeted warmly (and same with the goodbyes!). I like coming here.

I also got the BEST 4/20 goodie bag that I think I've ever received.

There are options for every tax bracket lol, so even if you only have $10, you can still get a decent 8th.

Totally worth just dropping by to see what's available and check out the atmosphere....
