Sooooo I never write bad reviews on people but yesterday I was so amazed.

3 months ago I booked a party for my son's birthday. Booked a private party put half down got 125 tickets, signed a contract sent out invites and booked someone to cook the food. 3 weeks before my baby party Royal Skateland 5201 Alter Rd, Detroit, MI 48224 called me said they double booked my party. After talking with half owner supposedly Dolla is his name. I realized that someone out paid them for my party because the words that came out his mouth was they paid more. I was so upset because my kid was looking forward to this party since summer. After arguing with him for hours we booked it for the next day but the agreement was that it was open skate and that I would be paid up so the half down would be a settled payment. I was ok with that so I sent out invites and loss money on food I put down payment on and continued with new day. 1 week before my baby party Dolla calls and says that I can have for original day I had booked because he looked into his paperwork and I booked party 1st before other people and that oringal day was mine and I declined because everything was set in stone after changing it to the following day. So realized that those people who booked had canceled and he was gonna be losing out on money. Day of party gut feeling something would be wrong. Got there Dolla had horrible attitude but I continued to be graceful. After bout 50 of my people showed up he started talking about he cutting people off he didn't agree to more than 75 people but he gave me 125 tickets and he argued unprofessionally with me and my son's father and he even wrote up a fake contract but I had original. After 10 mins of disagreements I was called a lair and almost put out. After my son's father called him out about contract we continued with party because he knew he was wrong. So party continued and over 100 people showed up and we had a good time. Moral of story is that I'm a child of God and Devil tried to ruin my baby day but I talked with God earlier and he made it come together for us❤️. I'm blessed!!!!!!!

ALSO I'm cutting back on dealing with my own people that got businesses if you know me I always try to give bk to my community 1st but time after I've been let down with poor customer service and bad business. I am a business owner and have been for 3 years now and I know how to treat my customers on a personal level. Man we gotta do better because I want to give my people business but can't have Peace when I do.

Bathroom was clean. The tables and floors were clean. The floor was not crowded. Far as the staff, one of the supervisor's attitudes needs a lot of work. Her mouth is worst than a drunk sailor. I'm glad it wasn't me she was talking too like that. She needs to be fired for talking to a coworker like that in the presence of others. No Respect. If that man was my husband I would have stepped up. No one should have to work in a verbally abusive environment. Then the other female from the kitchen came and added her comments filled with profanity. This is terrible. At least the man took what was said to him without reacting. Some people wouldn't. I left something in my car and I told the fat guy at the door that I haven’t even put on skates yet, he saw that. We just had gotten there. He was rude and I had to pay again to get back in after I only went outside for approximately 30 seconds and parked in the front row. I had to pay twice even though the people who I was with total in 10 not including me. Everyone was paid for and we bought refreshments and glow sticks for everyone for me to get charged twice.
