I decided I will not be removing the review. I did adjust it from a 1 to a 2 because I was pulled to the side about it. I don’t think I’m making a world of difference with this review but I will not be silenced. I say I won’t remove it because I said I will delete it but that was be for the owner said I’m taking your word which infuriated me because I took her word that I would get what I wanted!!!

I was crying in there because I felt ripped off and wasn’t getting what I wanted. I grew up in the 90/2000s I know full well what zillions look like. These are the laziest half attempt at “zillions.” I also requested no product be used if they weren’t gonna use my products. They were sneaking and using something behind my back and got visibly upset when I noticed.

I am not at all satisfied with my hair. Size is not as requested and poorly tied off “tye zillions” they aren’t micro braids at all just small like the size of extra small box braids.

Asked for zillions these are just small braids that’s not braided all the way down. I’m not saying anything because I’m already 1/3 done and just now seeing the mirror. Thought they felt big but it’s my fault for staying. I was desperate when my first appointment got canceled. It’s to be expected but the braiders are rude (nice nasty) talking trash right over your head laughing…especially when you speak up about something being wrong. I got charged more for having short hair which is usually something you hear about the day thicker hair.$250 and although having short hair can be a problem for some I should only be charged more if sized accordingly. I wouldn’t refer anyone here but at least it’s not that dirty inside. The women do just stare at you and give you an odd look until you smile and say hello. Kinda like Walmart greeters. As a Detroit native living in central Ohio, I tend to frequent this shop often when in need of braids. However, after my last experience it's about time I give them a break. I phoned the number provided and asked the owner would a particular stylist (Fatima) be available later in the week for knotless braids and she told me yes. Fast forward to Friday, I drive 3.5 hours in the pouring rain to be the first one there, as I know they do not take appointments so it's first come first serve. When the shop finally opens I ask is the Braider I requested there, again yes. To my surprise I end up getting two people working on my hair, which I dislike a great deal. The Braider (Lil Soda, who is TERRIBLE at braiding hair) who braided my back made the parts almost 3x times bigger than that of my front. This part I did not know because she never handed me a mirror, it wasn't until I got home did I realize the size difference and was extremely disappointed and already paid $250. I called the owner again to let her know and she said I could come back in to get it fixed. I do just that, all for the young lady to tell me that if I want the back done over I would have to pay another fee which frustrated me even more because I tipped ($80) almost half of the cost of the style and no one was willing to fix it. DONT come late with alot of Hair . You WILL be disappointed. I've been here a few times and when I say the first few my hair was beautiful. Recommended by a coworker I had to come see. 40 mins away from me. Clean shop, friendly staff . Good price. Fast forward to the last two times. Most recently first braider had bad attitude and poor disposition . I paid for medium knotless box braids and this the MESS I got for 210$. It was almost 6 when they got started. I was back on the freeway by 9!!!! And you can see why....sections HUGE. keep in mind I have had this style few times before and it should have been at least 2 braids in each of these . They look jus misplaced and random triangle parts as well. There is so much leave out hair where they didn't want to braid it down reminds of me of the zillions. Clearly rushed ready to go. But want their money. So they just did whatever. I was looking forward to finally treating myself for my birthday, single mom and working 2 jobs and unfortunately this what I got. 100$ braids at best. Ought to be shame.
