Encore 301 — Local services in Devils Lake

Me and my spouse (we are native) decided to come in and watch Moana 2 for their special preview upon entering it was filled and packed(as expected) so we go to purchase our tickets and the service clerk asks if we are here to watch Moana 2 we replied with “yesl and the clerk tells us they are sold out for the shower real bummer that was. So as we couldn’t watch this show we decided to at least purchase some popcorn and 2 beverages for a snack on the ride home but as we are ordering we overhear the same clerk who told us Moana 2 is sold out selling tickets to 2 females who are of caucasian origin seeing that it bewildered my spouse and I so we ask him why he sold them tickets and not us and he apparently had to grab a slip of “ receipt paper” in the “back” as he exits behind the counter swiftly that leaves our question unanswered and another worker continued what he was doing and we just assume its a prejudice thing towards us as we don't like pulling that card but after that blatant situation he pulled thats our only conclusion. Great Facilities, quality popcorn and beverages/snacks but the Staff seem to have an issue or prejudice towards coloured people. Hate to say that but its our indication we received.
