Leevers Foods — Local services in Devils Lake

Leevers is an excellent resource here in the DL. When I moved here I was surprised to find many products that I’ve been purchasing for years in a much larger city. Did not expect to have much of a selection in the DL, but Leevers delivered! The one drawback for me is that the meat isn’t of a quality I look for and there is no grass fed options sold here. There is no fresh fish or seafood either. Overall though, the meat selection is very good.

I held off on reviewing Leevers for a couple of years because when I first began shopping there in 2022, much of the staff appeared depressed, bored, and overall unhappy. Everything is wayyyy too overpriced! I bought turkey meat expired 2-23-23 its March 3rd 2023. I bought milk that taste chalky like it's been refermented! In the past I found mold on my grapes, chunks of lard in my packaged meats! It's always something with leevers! It's disgusting and they want extra cash for this! This was the 1st stop on my way through Devil's Lake. I didn't yet find the Wal-Mart. I needed coffee. I was SHOCKED at the prices. Smaller can 19.99!!!
