With my experience of a rude greeting at the donation center, you will never get another donation from me. I was immediately meet with a directive from a young man; “do not place items on the ground”. I am partially disabled and a vacuum cleaner I had had began to slip out the back when I opened my hatch. It was easier to grab it and stand it up next to my vehicle then to fight it to stay. To clarify what I had heard I began to look for who had spoken out loud. I saw a young man walking towards me and asked; did you say something to me? Yes, replied the young man. I told you not to put anything on the ground. I found this to be said with a rude authorization tone. As he approached my vehicle he made the statement; “if it is not bagged or boxed, I won’t take it”. Again, I found his demeanor rude.

With that said, I loaded my items back into my vehicle. And I will not contribute in anyway...

I took my daughter in to try and find a black dress for a school concert. They had many options but when we asked about the dressing rooms they said they were no longer able to use them. So I was ok with buying it all and just returning what didn’t fit. So after undoing all the hangers and finishing ringing everything up I was informed by another customer that returns would be for store credit only. I’m not an avid goodwill shopper so no way I would go through over $100 in store credit any time soon. They said this was their return policy for clothes and electronics now. The clothes had to have the tag still attached, receipt , be within 7 days and only for store credit. Well, I was just in yesterday. I wanted to buy jeans. Woman at the register said they don't have fitting rooms anymore (1 week old reviewer says she got to use the fitting room). They do have a physical fitting room that they blocked with merchandise. So, what is it? Some people can use the fitting rooms and some can't? Does it depend on the manager and time of day? Or maybe how I look?(It is goodwill) They offer no refunds, just store credit. So, if you take a chance, and nothing fits, I can't even get my money back...
