Berger's Furniture & Mattress — Local services in Dickson City

I have been shopping at Rabel's for several years. I cannot compare the experience here to shopping at a large furniture store where you are constantly "hounded" and followed around to push a sale. Ed Rabel and store associate, Kathy have been wonderful to work with. I have purchased several sets of living room furniture, including custom made sets, (where Kathy helped me choose fabric), tables, mattresses, and TV stand. Orders come in quickly and delivery is free. I have never had anything but a great experience shopping here. The ONLY negative I can think of is the store's limited evening hours, which can be difficult for those who work during the day and on a Saturday. Initially my experience was very good with Bergers however the quality of the couch I purchased I am very unhappy with. I noticed that the fabric is tearing at the seams on the sides of all the cushions. We have had the couch for 8 months. We don't have pets or young children. It seems that just from sitting on it it's stretching the fabric which is causing the tearing. The cushions never seemed to fit properly and the shape is already changing. Overall the quality is extremely poor and this should not be happening after a short period. I'm not surprised we weren't offered a warranty. I regret not spending a little more money for better quality furniture somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this store if you're looking for something...

This place is outstanding! My partner and I ordered a suite of furniture (living room and dinimg room) and had a very positive experience. We found this store online and decided to purchase our furniture through them because they had the same furniture Ashley was selling but at better prices. Admittedly I was apprehensive about the purchase given I was unfamiliar with this store.
