Mainline Hoagie & Pizza Shop — Restaurant in Dickson City

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. My family loves this place, and we always enjoy trying new things off the menu. We normally pick up our order due to us living a town over but when we ordered last night we called and ask if we can have it delivered to find out that they don’t go that far. I talked to two different people on the phone just from them to say we will deliver to you but the order has to be over 25$. Which I don’t know what happened within the last few months but a 20 minute drive isn’t crazy for a delivery and that was just for pizza and sub. When telling the lady this she started to become aggressive with me and told me it would be more than a 40 min wait and that I would need to wait because they have people in front of us. She asked if we wanted to tip the driver in aggressive manner. I still placed the order, after an hour we received our order. We start going through our food to see they forgot part of our order, which is upsetting due to the amount of attitude we got the first time around. I call and let them know and I was told they would be able to bring it to us, then to turn around and say they don’t do refunds and that it would need to be a credit to get something of said value in the future. I wasn’t having that and asked if they can make it and bring it to us. Do keep in mind I had them repeat my order to me when confirming said order. They said they never made it and that we weren’t charged but that isn’t true after going though the menu and adding everything up including the delivery fee we were still missing money. I am so livid and upset, I love eating here but between the poor customer service and the lack of communication we will not be...

Well after ordering by phone told 30 minutes for order, I arrived only to have my pizza given away to someone hanging around the counter waiting for them to make hoagie obvious a walk in. I waited another 20 minutes for my order to be completed. So much for calling ahead. Workers behind the counter were not very professional NO ONE WAS WEARING A MASK!! WORKING WITH FOOD!! Handeling money and going to food with no gloves!! A delivery person was behind the counter no mask eating chips, fingers in mouth then handeling orders. I was stunned watching what was going on. One worker stepped outside to smoke, came back in and right to food, no hand washing!! I urge someone from board of health to do an undercover inspection, the place would be shut down immediately!!! I like just about everything they sell. I have been going to this shop for over 10 yrs. The reason I gave it 5 stars is because they changed their recipe for their Pizza. I wasn't going to order from them ever again because it was pretty bad. I gave them another shot because I couldn't be the only one that thought this. So when I got the pizza I knew right away without even tasting it. The pizza that I knew was back. Not only was it back they improved on it. This isn't a 5 star gourmet pizza. It's a cheesy gooey with fresh ingredients pizza. You know the one. It has the brown cheese with bubbles. It's a perfect Friday night pizza.
