Worst store in the history of the U.S. I went in to have a part installed on a lower reciever, and instead the gunsmith clearly sabotaged my device; rendering it unusable. I went in to consult with them previously twice beforehand, asking if they could install the accessory that I wanted installed and was told both times that they could. When I went in for the service they destroyed my lower reciever and then refused to take fault for it. I asked them to remove the acsessory and restore my reciever to the condition it was when i brought it to them and they could not even remove the accessory they installed wrong. I took the part to five other stores and no one was able to fix their errors, when i confronted Area 51 on it they refused to take fault. They instead bad mouthed several of the other local shops that I took the reciever to in an effort to get the lower receiver restored to its original state. They then suggested that I buy a different, more expensive accessory and bring that to them to let them destroy, stating that the product I had was no good, even though I know that it was a quality...

I ordered an AR-10 buffer tube and buffer kit from Area 51, transaction went well and the individuals were very friendly. was told the kit would be in the store for pick-up in about 5 days. After a week of waiting, I called and was told the parts hadn't arrived yet and they were unable to track the order since the person who placed it was not around. This happened two more times. I ended up purchasing the parts from an online vendor (which I try not to do, I enjoy buying locally and supporting small businesses) which of course, arrived in 3 days. I called again to cancel my order and to my surprise, was told I could not be refunded because they couldn't find record of the order ever being placed. A few days later I decided to stop by the store and was again greeted with a friendly welcome, and after difficulty finding record of the order and questioning between employees of my messages from weeks prior, was able to receive my refund. I personally find it in bad business practice to have such loose standards as to lose an order of a potential return purchaser. I unfortunately do not recommend Area 51...

these guys know what they are doing. they have a good selection of items for most any platform. Dan and Dennis are awesome. They stayed late (almost an hour) to finish building my AR-15. i got a phone call yesterday, almost 2 months after buying the AR, from Dennis just checking in to see if everything was going good with the gun and if i needed anything or had any questions. who else does that! very reasonable pricing on all accessories and firearms. these other guys giving low reviews probably came in the store thinking they knew everything about everything and had the tacti-cool, level 11 operator mindset and attitude. some people just like to fuss and complain. give these guys a chance to earn your business. i have no affiliation with this company and receive no discounts for reviews. i rarely ever leave reviews, so when someone takes the time out of their day to sit and write something positive about a product/company, it should mean...
