If I had the choice I would have rated this meal with no stars but in order to make a comment I have to give one star let's just start by saying customer service was horrible food is terrible and it has a old taste to it I tried calling Panda to let them know about my food but I got nowhere therefore I had to come here to leave a bad comment which I didn't want to do that I ordered General Tso's chicken but chicken itself taste like it was cooked a couple days ago it's like rubber who wants to eat that let alone the rice has a foul smell I never had Chinese food that had a taste as bad as this taste I've eaten here before so I know that this isn't how they cook their food something isn't right about the food that I ordered but I got nowhere what you're looking at is general tso's chicken with fried rice in the corner you can see where I spit the chicken out it's a shame I spent 30 something dollars for my food and I couldn't explain myself nor the food to the Cook about what it taste like she never offered anything else only thing she told me was she couldn't help me she tried to say that I don't like it but this is my favorite meal to eat. the egg roll taste like it was refried as well something is wrong with this meal and I'm not happy so I came here to let everyone else know what I felt about it and for you to be aware of poor customer service and bad food at Panda if you had good service and good food then good for you but today it was horrible you might be wondering why I spent thirty something on my food that's because I ordered other food. I asked for a few extra sauce packs and I was charged for more duck sauce. I have 2 meals chicken egg rolls scallops fried chicken and only 6 sauces. I was never charged for extra but today I had to pay. I was mistreated and taken advantage of. All I wanted was a fresh meal and I couldn't get that. After seeing all the recent negative reviews of this restaurant, I wanted to give my own review as someone who's been coming here for years.

Panda is one of the better Chinese restaurants that I've been to, and my favorite one in Dothan. The food's typically always good, and I've never gotten sick from any of it. There are occasions where the egg rolls will be a little too greasy for my taste, hence the four stars, but apart from that it's usually really good. I particularly like the panda combo, with the pepper steak and chicken with broccoli. And when the egg rolls are not greasy, they're probably the best I've had from a Chinese takeout place. Both the fried and steamed dumplings are just doughy enough to not be too much, but still substantial and tasty at the same time.

As for the staff--which seems to be one of the biggest grievances people have--the woman who works the register has always been nice to me. Sure, she's not the friendliest person I've ever met, but then I'm not there on a social call. She's polite enough and always asks if I need sauce or anything else with my order.

As for the atmosphere of the place, I guess that would probably be its weakest point, but I view it as particularly a takeout restaurant anyway so it doesn't bother me. Admittedly, it's strange how they still follow the covid protocols for safety, years after the pandemic, but again, it's not really a big deal and obviously doesn't hurt the food.

So, in short, I find panda to be an above-average takeout Chinese restaurant, and I wish we had a place like that in Tuscaloosa, to be honest. I miss this place when I'm up there. I put it right there with Jin Jin and Dragon Garden in Enterprise (two other great takeout places, especially Jin Jin).

I have been going here every since they opened. I would call my order in a go pick it up. I like the black pepper chicken they are the only ones that make it like this. One day I called in my order and sent my csr to pick it up she didnt ask for my order she placed another order so as I was sitting and eating my plate at work they called and was highly upset when I told them about the confusion. They really wanted me up there to pay for the additional plate. I told them I'm sorry and the young lady didn't know she keep saying well your plate is here. I let that go and I did feel bad cause I been a dedicated customer for years. Well one day I called in after this and she answered so rude like not we won't place your order over phone you come here and hung up on me. That hurt my feelings so I called her back and told her listen I love your food and I'm sorry out of years of coming to y'all you would treat me like a stranger y'all seen my grands from a baby grow up and I seen your daughter from a toddler mature beautifully and to think over a plate you would pretty much banish me hurts.
