Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Dothan

Never fails, every time i come here something isn’t right. You can forget asking for sauces, might as well carry your own BBQ sauce bottle on up here. It’s complete utter chaos all the time it seems. There’s been multiple times i’ve had an order of literally 1 menu item and people who have pulled up AND ordered huge orders after me have gotten their food. One girl admitted to me they can’t keep track of orders in the correct order. Ive waited 35 minutes before i had enough of them before not bringing out my ONE menu item after dozens of other people have already gotten their meals. The workers all walk around outside the entire time like they have absolutely nothing to do, and they’ll often be seen just standing there talking while almost every stall is full. The unprofessionalism is at its peak here. I’d be better off driving across town for sonic at this point. Of course, THE APP IS NO BETTER FOR ORDER AHEAD EITHER!!! They still won’t listen to what u want on your order. I’ve found a short coarse hair in my food within the last few days, presumably from a mans head/beard. I’ve thrown up after drinking their milkshakes multiple times, not sure what’s wrong there, so i just don’t even order them anymore for the fear they’re using...

I was a regular here until recently however, I have recently had the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant here. I am a mobile app orderer, like usual, I ordered through the app, it was a busy evening, three meals took roughly 20 minutes to make. By the time we received the food my family was ready to leave so we took it home. Not checking the bag, we found a sandwich missing and we had overcooked old tots. I was annoyed and ready to move past it but when my girlfriend found mold on the bottom bun of our toddler’s burger I was done, after checking all the food and recording it, I tossed it all and called Sonic’s Emergency line.

They assured me things would be taken care of and if I was to return they’d make things right. Well I returned, got on the speaker, talked to someone, the General Manager was not there so whoever was said they’d come out to talk, I sat outside my car for 30 minutes waiting on the bench in front of their door, nothing. For anyone wanting Sonic: DO NOT GO TO THE ONE ON 231 SOUTH IN DOTHAN!!! We waited 20 minutes before our order was brought out to us. One lady waited 25 mins after she pushed the button and no one even acknowledged her! They never brought my husband's food and then accused us of trying to steal! They asked us for the dang bag back to make sure we didn't get it! Then come to find out they didn't have the bread to even make the sandwich in the first place! We ordered sonic blasts with cheesecake bites and of course they don't have it still, we came a few weeks ago and got told that same story only now to find out those are seasonal???!!!! If it's seasonal, why is on your menu and promoting it?! They were rude and none of the other order was right. I asked for bacon on my burger and got none. My son got a reeses blast and it was oreo.
