Signature Nail Salon — Local services in Douglasville

Ladies don't go to this nail shop, they do not have any interity and do not stand by there work and are lier's. I went in October 20, 2018 at 10:58 a.m., the technician name was Ghen, told him I wanted full set (Arcrilic) he said the powder is Good, I should have stuck with what works for me, he did the dip powder in white glitter, however that same evening my index and left ring finger nail bent and my index finger nail broke off totally on right side and end of nail, ring broke off the right side which left the nail snagging on everything, called back around 4:15 p.m. and was told to come back Sunday October 21, 2018 at 1p.m., took time out of my schedule went back and was told on Ghen not here, then was told it was going to be a while, it was going to be a wait, I told the young black receptionist that I was not going to wait I will come back Monday after I get off work around 7 p.m. she said okay we will redo them, now went tonight at 6:34 p.m. explained what happened, not my faught your work you was not up to standard, the nails bent and broke off, I said if you can repair that's fine, and the owner said we can do over, then the technician started soaking the two nails and the owner came thought you wanted to go ahead and do over, know it should have known,I'm thinking she's adamant about doing over, there integrity, I said okay, this fool had the odesity to charfe me, know keep in mind I just paid $35+ ,$4 tip on Saturday, why in the Sam Hill would I pay another $35 for service that didn't with stand, I changed from powder to Arcrilic and gel polish like first request anyway, I given them if anything I should have been charged polish change, them stupid owner and the dumb little boy I assuming her son, with ear ring in his year, whom knew what's was going on, he was there working Sunday when the receptionist spoke to him while I was standing waiting Sunday and lied and said he was not there Sunday, these people have not interity, they are about the money and I get that, but I do not want or need anything free, initially they said was going to call cops if I didn't pay $20, I'm like at first call but then majority are crooked, Im like I can do even better, I'm not trying no boycott or anything, Ladies I am saying, Ladies blue, black, orange, green and white, you do not have to spend your money to any business that you are not treated with, kindess, and no business that do not have interity and truth in them, God knows just what they are and how they are and God will...

My first visit to signature nail salon in Douglasville Georgia was in 2016. My initial visit was pleasant, I was greeted with a smile, offered a drink, and had my nails done to my liking in a timely manner. I was thrilled because I thought that I had finally found a nail shop that offered quality service. Over time, the service declined and I felt that each time I would come regardless to whether I had an appointment or not, the nail tech would do a rush job on my nails. As a result, I stopped getting my nails done there. After about a year or so without visiting this nail salon, my daughter suggested that we go and give them another chance especially since we live so close by. Boy, was that a mistake. Yet again, the nail tech did a rush job on a simple fill-in. I voiced my concerns and let the owner know that I felt rushed and as a paying consumer, I didn't feel that it was right. The owner did try to accommodate my blotched nail job by completely removing the acrylic at no charge and even offered a gift certificate for $15. I declined the gift certificate because this has been an ongoing issue and I don't want to waste another minute of my time on an establishment that doesn't take the necessary time to do quality work from start to finish. Not to mention, they overbook and still accept walk-ins when they know they don't have the staff to accommodate; if you don't like your nails and ask them to fix them, they get upset and talk about you to other techs in their native language; and it seems that some customers are treated better than others.

If you want your nails done right, save your hard earned money and time and do them yourself or establish a rapport with a nail tech at a reputable salon that truely loves what they do more than seeing how much money they can make in a day by doing rush jobs. I will never return to this shop or any Asian owned...

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I went in to get a mani and pedi. The pedicure was rushed but far better than the manicure. I received an overlay, while the nail tech was roughly filling down the nail he clipped my skin and caused my finger to start bleeding. Then, instead of simply apologizing he proceeded to pull my cuticle and say that’s what caused the bleeding. My nails were not filed evenly nor was the finished look clean. I was left with uneven, messy nails that had dried powder all over them. When I went to check out I asked the young lady at the front desk to fix them. She was very nice about it, however, she kept stopping to handle guest at the front and their system went down so she was also on the phone trying to get their card machine fixed. She had to redip and file my nails, however once again it was rushed so I had to ask her to file them again. The top coat was messed up in the process and once again dried dip was left all over my nails. When I said something about she stated that it would come off in time. She had to repaint my nails twice, by the 3rd I told her I needed to pick up my son and needed to leave. She then applied gel polish, which is what should have been placed on in the first place. After receiving a 10% discount the total still came to $112. I highly suggest anyone considering going there to find another place!! The 5 star reviews are false. They are taking $5 off your service if you leave a 5 star review on google which they are also wanting to read before you can receive the discount. After leaving the salon I then had to find another establishment to completely redo my nails bc I was so embarrassed by their work and the state they left my nails in. I will NEVER go to them again.
