New place; appreciate the non-beef options. The bathroom was clean (although I may have accidentally used the employee one). The staff was friendly and welcoming. The beverages were the highlight of our dining experience. But overall I and my companions have a bit of a beef with everything else, metaphorically speaking.
The interior is a bit uncomfortable, although they tried to warm it up with a heater on one of the dining tables. But a strip mall location can only do so much; I cannot fault it in this respect.
However, the greatest blunder is the burger itself. I got the bacon cheddar burger, a lovely hand-crafted sandwich with unique toppings like BBQ sauce—or so it seemed at least. The burger I received was cooked to perfection, if perfection is browning a plain disk of ground beef and also forgetting all the sauce (including the BBQ sauce!). The cheese was there, at least.
The side I chose was the cheddar ranch fries. These were fine, although it was clear to me after a few bites the ranch they used was store-bought, not a damnable sin, but a disappointment given the price.
My companions ordered the chopped cheddar and the turkey burger — both of which were merely “okay” to “mediocre” as was relayed to me. The hoagie used for the chopped cheddar was not toasted, like eating a hot dog bun. When asked if there was any redeeming quality to the meal, he said the sweet potato fries were “pretty good.” The turkey burger was soggy on the sides but well cooked on the top and bottom, sandwiched with an adequate brioche bun with toppings. The tater tots were “fine”.
The value compared to the quality is simply not there, though. When surveyed post meal, I as well as my companions estimated we believed our meal to be worth no more than $10 — yet it was double this price after tip.

Read moreFirst off, this is clearly a new family owned business and they are working through minor issues that come with a small business.
That's said, staff was very friendly and the store was very clean. I had 3 burgers to go. Website says all will be cooked to well done for now. I would say mine was closer to done than well done. Great, honestly! Burgers overall were very good.
My only gripe was the fries and tots. They really just needed another minute or so. But they tasted like high quality taters! Not the cheapest feeling by any means.
I did have a chocolate shake and it was great!
Will I eat here again? You bet! I would expect that the quality will even out as the staff/cooks work out the kinks.
If they work out online orders or at least phone in, you can bet I would get a to-go maybe once a week since I am only a mile down the road.
Again, I do suggest them. 3 stars is only due to the fries. Woyk out some details there and you easily move up to...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining in at this establishment yesterday. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I was joyously greeted at the door. This is always a good sign of great customer service. After looking through the menu and deciding what I wanted, I placed the order. I ordered an All American Impossible Burger, sweet potato fries, and their signature fruit punch then proceeded to sit down. The tables did need to be wiped down. But that’s neither here or there. I got my food and it was delicious. Now, I must say the fruit punch is something to be acquired when it comes to taste. I didn’t care for that too much. However, I still give this establishment five starts because the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious! Please go support this husband and wife duo. They’re good people running a great business that’s very much needed for the Douglasville area.
May I add this is a fairly new establishment. I understand that kinks have...
