Brought my mom here for the first time and the food taste great. However, the restaurant is filled with bugs. There was a bug crawling on my mom’s food and a bug crawled down my shirt. I panicked and stood up and practically ripped my own shirt off. The table behind us in the booth also had a bug in their food too. The server was sweet and kind but lacked true hospitality. He said they had been experiencing bugs all day because of the “pollen” and season change so I guess by the time he heard our complaint, he wasn’t surprised at all. The manager did not come to the table and when I approached her, she too was not surprised. She didn’t apologize or anything. She just asked if my mom wanted her food remade and said that they don’t have a screen to stop the bugs from coming inside. After inspecting my food, I continued to eat. My mom replacement meal came out when we were ready to go and I asked for the check. When the bill came I noticed my mom food was not comped and I asked the manager for a discount on her food. The manager said she wouldn’t discount my mom Food because she agreed to “replace” the meal and they remade the food. This customer service is extremely tacky. My mom sat there and watched me eat. We had to pack her food to go and it’s a shame because the food is so good. However, I will not return because of the lack of service and accountability. I work in a restaurant as well and this lackluster service is unacceptable. Furthermore, the manager downplayed the situation by showing us the other bugs she had just killed by the host...
Read moreAs soon as you walk in for our last few visits on random days of the week. When it should be busy we are like the only ones there. And the service is bad. But we tried again. I wanted to ask of they were closed. The host didn't say hello, then we did get chips but the server never came. I had to go ask if we had one. The server was hugging and dancing with someone in the lobby. The host said to them "oh it's you" he had no idea so I didn't fault him at first. When he came he took forever to bring drinks back. The food took a long time I was about to ask of it was coming. Half of the food came and it was all cold. Finally the rest came also cold. We sent it all back. He tried to say it wasn't possible it just came out. When it returned it wasn't much warmer and then my mom bit into her taco and there was a super long curly hair in it and she has straight hair. She was about to be sick. We said this is that last chance they had. Then the server didn't appear for a while i had to go find a random worker who seemed more alert and said oh no and got our server and she was finally able to say to him there's a hair. He was like oh um well I won't charge you for that and stood there not saying anything. So she didn't get to eat because she was feeling sick then. We never got refills, we had to ask for the check. No one said bye. We paid and left. Apparently the health score is like 70 or something. So yeah no...
Read moreWent here today at 11:30 a.m. and was greated well by Dan, who fondly greeted my friend with a hug and called her by name. We were going to having a lunch and chat. Order taken and food delivered in reasonable time frame. When I saw the plateful, I told Alicia that I was going to need a take out box. Food was wonderful and we had time to visit with each other. Unfortunately, Alicia did not return to table to check on any needs including refil on drinks. We requested a take out box from Dan as Alicia mostly ignored us. After ample time and minimal customers in to eat, we flagged Dan again. So we got the boxes and the bill. Then we waited again. Alicia picked up the cash and then we proceeded to wait for change. After approximately 10 more minutes, we moved to the register as Alicia obviously never returned. Our disappointment was versed and was pretty much passed off with just "I'm sorry". If a return visit is made by myself family or our tree service crew, I would most definitely request a different waitress. I hope Dan takes heed to this review and works out training for better...
