My luck with small businesses in this area since moving here last year has not been good, and despite my desire to support small business, this is the last straw for me. These people cannot tell you who their wholesale distributor is for their allegedly "high quality" essential oils (there are only five worldwide; it's not a difficult question), how they're bulk packaged, temp distilled, and they cannot (or will not) show you the MSDS sheets for any of their repackaged oils. As an herbalist, I want and need to know these things, but never get a straight answer. To make things even better, I was happy to see that they had individual Micron pens for just $3 each...except that every single one of them that I have purchased over the past two months (photo below) has either been dried out, or gone dry within a single journal page of use and end up being abandoned in my truck. This afternoon I went back to try to talk to the owner with the three pens I bought earlier this week in hand; the door was locked early, so...I give up. I went across town to Joann Fabrics and dropped $50 on two multipacks, which is a shame because I have no use for the .50s or the .80s, but at least they rotate their stock instead of selling me $30 of unrecyclable plastic trash to feel guilty about and clutter my jockeybox with. I'm only shopping on Amazon, Frontier and Mountain Rose's websites from now on. These local mom-and-pop shops are definitely not worth the hassle anymore. The really sad thing is that the owner's brother recommended this place to me when I went to buy a car last year....I really wish I hadn't listened to him.

I used to love shopping at Bolek's. They always had what I needed, great quality items, and most of all GREAT customer service. Thank you Chris! This has all changed! They no longer carry yarn! They no longer have a great bead selection. The tea tree oil that my husband picked up for me earlier this week smelled nothing like any tea tree oil i have EVER purchased from boleks in the past. That leads me to why I would give them -10 stars if I could. When I took the $12 bottle of oil back to Bolek's thinking that someone just mislabeled a bottle, hey we are all human, I took it to the sweet girl at the front counter. I told her I thought there had been a mistake and asked if I could exchange it. Well aparently you are not allowed to have any problems with any product that comes from Bolek's. And if you do you will be rushed at by Jeremy Bolek like a out of control freight train. The gal took the bottle back to him and he came outta the back yelling at me that it was tea tree oil and if I didn't believe him I could come to the back and see the barrel it came out of. No way was I going anywhere with this guy. I calmly explained that I have been buying it from them for years and that this smelled nothing like tea tree oil. He kept yelling at me, opening other bottles and shoving them under my nose, even went as far as accusing me of tampering with the oil before I brought it back. Finally just to get out of there, I told him he had lost a customer and to keep the bottle of oil. I headed for the door. He yelled at me that he would give me a refund, and I told him that would be nice and thank you. As I got to the counter, he threw a $20 down in front of me. I told him that was too much. He told me to take it for my trouble. I just couldn't believe this guy. I put the $8 I felt I owed him in change back on the counter. I did not go in there to con anyone,or to get anything for free.I will end with this. This guy is mean! He should not be...

Horrible customer service!!! If i could give a minus 2 star I would definitively do !!! I placed my order of over $100 and once 1 received it (after they sent it to the wrong address) i had MANY broken pieces. I had to count the bags to know how many were broken and 1 bag was even short by 9 pieces and no extra ones as they say they send....they send 2 extra ones in some of the bags but not SEVERAL as they say. They are for sure not FRIENDLY at all and always rushing u on the phone and finally they dont let u talk or finish your sentence. If that lady is the owner she shouldn t be taking the calls and talking to people and hire a NICE PROFESSIONAL sales person to do bussiness properly as is a...
