Dover City Boat Ramp — Local services in Dover

Hidden behind the courthouse, great place for a picnic......BUT!

This would have been a 5 star experience but there was a little fellow walked up to my truck asking what I was doing there. He had a police badge and said the place was his and I could not sit at the Ramp parking lot in my truck. He had a small boy with him.

I should have called the cops and asked who this clown was. I didn't want an argument with this person in front of my 2 boy's (6 and 8 years old)

He was too short to look inside my truck and wanted me to open my door for no reason other than sitting at the ramp.

He was pointing at a brown house just above the ramp saying that is his and the ramp was his responsibility.

I have no idea if this guy was a real officer or not but I left to avoid a...

Beautiful and continually improved in small ways with well-lit parking in an open and trimmed grassy riverside nook.

Moderate to heavy traffic on weekends and during tournaments.

A composting outhouse (like at Neville Bay) or a port-o-jon could be really helpful, yet understandably may disturb the balance this place...
