The Dover Grille — Restaurant in Dover

Visiting the area and the Dover Grille was a great choice. We were seated quickly. The young lady taking care of us was wonderful. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. She had just graduated from high school. I had the shrimp basket and my husband had the Buffalo chicken tender basket. We both had fries and shared an order of onion rings. The restaurant had a fun decor to read and look at. We enjoyed our delicious meals. Would definitely go back.

Breakfast review: Since we had such a fun time at dinner at Dover Grille, we decided to check out their breakfast. It was wonderful. We both had the Breakfast Special for $5.99. I had scrambled eggs, 2 perfectly cooked crispy bacon strips, a small bowl of gravy with a homemade biscuit. My husband said his eggs cooked over easy were perfect. They have Prairie Farms sausage which was the best we've ever had. Treat yourself to a Dover Grille breakfast soon. Our server was Jacob and he was outstanding. We will definitely go back next time we are kayaking in Land...

I got the chicken tasted sour bitter told watress she got me a pork chop at least it tasted better. But none of the food was that great. My daughter got the Alfredo but got the chrisp chicken and hers tasted naste the sauce they used an her chicken was also bitter tasting. I said something to them about it but just asked if we wanted a box for it. If I can't eat it hear because it was nasty why would I take it home. The didn't even ask if we wanted to get her nothing else and we still had to pay for that nasty stuff. And again someone else ask as we were paying for it did we need a box. I would totally 100% recommend them. We walked in and was told we could pick our seat. I loved that, because sometimes you just want to sit where you want not where they want you to.

When we started looking through the menu we were laughing! The description of their menu items is hilarious 😂 like yesterday’s fresh vegetables lol!!

The portions were perfect and everything tasted really fresh, hot and tasty 😋 Our waitress was friendly, checked on us often and was very polite!

The atmosphere was just as fun as their menu! I enjoyed reading all the random signs hanging everywhere! And the huge cow statue was adorable!!
