I am a food critic from everywhere, and yes this is basically a coffee shop. We got breakfast from here. We called 2 times for carry out, and no one answered. Finally got through, and was put on hold beside the their frother machine. After listening to a loud annoying sound for more than 3 minutes i hung up and ordered online. They advertised biscuits and sausage gravy. Ya'll know, who lives around this area, no one has sausage gravy around here, we were excited. Bummer, It is just white gravy with a sausage patty. I also ordered eggs and bacon with the biscuits and gravy, picture below. They only offer scramble eggs which is the square thing in the picture. No, that is not cheese on top. It's pan scrambled eggs left under heating lamp. The bacon was definitely microwave. A good note, their biscuits were the best around here that I have had, just don't order them with gravy. It is watered down and makes them soggy. Their cinnamon rolls were awesome and I am sure their other pastries are good as well. I personally just don't think they make them themselves. I also ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and bacon, egg, and cheese on english muffin. They were good. Same scrambled squares of eggs with rubber on top from the heating lamp. I have not tried any of their coffees, so I cannot review them. See for yourself. Even though the eggs have rubber on top, I will probably order the...
Read moreThis is a cute little place. But I went in to by 4 shots of Expresso at $1.50 a shot. She charged me $4.14. I told her I wouldn't mind paying that but I'm cheating the store. And she started to argue that she was correct. She got another lady to come over and help me understand. The lady tried to explain to me why it was correct and I told her it was not but whatever. She re-rang the order and charged me a dollar fifty five. I asked why she's charging me that and she said it includes tax. I said no honey that's not tax. She then explained that it's a credit card fee . I asked her how she knew I was paying with a credit card or cash. I told her I'm paying cash so she gave me a credit of $0.20. I then took the expresso to my and he looked at it and said that's not 4 shots. So I took it back in and she showed me how she fills shot glasses halfway. Typically a shot is one ounce. My husband got a total of 2 oz espresso. Yeah we won't...
Read moreSo the atmosphere is very copy and paste basic, if you like the generic painting of the shetland cow from hobby lobby (you know the one) youâll probably like the atmosphere. I wasnât greeted when I walked in, when I walked up to the counter I was asked âwhat can I get you?â Which is very normal, I replied âI donât know, this is my first time here.â To which the barista just stared at me. Ordered and received my drinks and they were all bad. Coffee was terrible and weak. My wifeâs coffee that was a more flavored type tasted more like milk. And we got an energy spritzer or whatever they call it and they just poured a peach âAlani nuâ into a cup with 2 peach rings, which is fine but when the wife asked what the drink was before ordering, the barista said it was like an energy drink mixed with other flavors, and it wasnât. I was excited to see Dover get some new stuff but this place is...
