Genevieve's on Second — Local services in Dover

I initially learned about Genevieve’s on Second from a “suggested post” on Facebook and visited for the first time while on my first visit to a nearby town. I thought it was definitely worth a return trip the next time I’m anywhere in the area. The shop was well-organized and the employees were friendly and helpful. There was an incredible variety of high quality antique/collectible items and prices made it worth considering a few impulse purchases. Several furniture items were nice enough to make me consider the two hour drive back in the near future! If you’re considering a visit, definitely start following their shop on Facebook, as they show lots of photos of what’s currently available...

What a jewel of a second hand store! Lots of vendors are nestled together in this rather large retail space providing a great variety of goodies to consider taking home. Many collectibles, vintage jewelry, repurposed and painted furniture, pottery, glassware, etc....but the best part to me was the prices....they actually have things there priced...

My house/man-cave, is now adorned with shelves, bookcases, and a few other odd pieces. Granted, a little paint makes dreams happen; old pieces get renewed purpose.
