Al's Food Town — Local services in Duchesne

It’s my birthday today and I had my son stop and grab some delicious hamburger for dinner! Yet again the meat department has disappointed us once again! It never stops the outside of meat is red but as soon as I went to make patties the meat inside was brown and smelly ! I scraped off the red and fried that ! Now I’m scared to eat it! The rest of it will go to the dogs ! It taste bad ! I should have taken a photo! Please please fix the meat department! I don’t know how many years that I have lost money on meat, or having to eat it anyways because there was nothing else for my kids to eat! I love all the employees and love supporting my hometown businesses! But I can’t buy anymore meat from Al’s Foodtown until they fix the meat department! Covid is over for now please bring back the “return policy “ I deserve my money back ! The other week it was Best Food mayo… thank goodness I looked at the yellow bottle! An excellent employee said “ oh is that the Bestfoods Mayo , it’s bad “ If it’s bad pull the whole shelf so other customers don’t buy and find out when they get home , ITS BAD ! I can go on & on …. Well, when you live where my parents do you either go to dushane and go towels or you go to Altamonte to I don't know the name of that store. Both are pretty pricey Alex has an assortment of things that I really really different then what you'd expect to find. They used to have a $1 section but that's gone but they still have this huge section of just things that you wouldn't normally find in a grocery store. The people are pretty friendly but it is you know higher-priced because it's raining out here in the Duchesne Valley View and food County Duchesne County sorry Uintah County but if you live up here you travel into both because if you want I could Smith's or something you have to go at least to Roosevelt and if you want a Walmart you go to Vernal. Small local store, but they're deli is amazing and fresh. They have unique items for gifts etc. And prices and rewards program are great! Friendly service, however I, being Gluten free wish they would expand their freezer section in this department... But overall fantastic little store.
