I've been going to this salon for almost three years now and it has steadily declined to the point that I cannot recommend it anymore. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A MENS HAIRCUT THAT IS SHORT.
When I first started going here, I had a stylist, Nicole, for over 2 years. She was amazing, very skillful, and pretty easily to schedule appointments with. She left earlier this year and I had another stylist, Lee, who took over cutting my hair. Lee wasn't as good as Nicole, he was decently skilled but would rush through the cut a little more, was harder to schedule appointments with, and rarely was I completely satisfied with my haircut...but it was acceptable. I put some product in my hair and all the imperfections could be covered up relatively easily. Out of laziness, I continued with Lee until I was told recently that he had left as well.
My most recent haircut was with Summer. Maybe Summer can cut women's hair, but Summer clearly did not know how to cut men's hair. All I wanted was a basic tapered fade that wasn't too short. She struggled the entire session but managed cut the top and sides decently with some instruction throughout the session. I should have known better but I didn't think of it until I got home that she didn't spend much time on the back and didn't show me the back with a mirror. To my horror when I looked at the back, this woman gave me a bowl cut with zero taper fade leaving the hair on the back way longer than the top or the sides. She basically didn't cut the back and the spots she did cut she tried to do some layer technique and so poorly that you can see uneven lengths all over the place.
I do not have a difficult haircut and I'm pretty easy to please. I don't know what is going on at this salon but something is seriously wrong. Maybe Summer is amazing at women's haircut. I wouldn't know. But if you cannot cut a men's haircut, do not take on a men's haircut and the management should know better than to allow her to do it. People go to salons and pay higher because there are basic standards higher than supercuts. The haircut I received is way worse than what I would get at supercuts and that is unacceptable. Now I need to go get my butcher haircut fixed at another place. I will no longer come here anymore. The management has declined and there has to be some issue that hairstylists are leaving so often that I have three different people within one year.
There are a few OGs still in the store that I've seen, but it's mostly new faces now. Hopefully if you ignore this message and still go, you get one of the OGs. Maybe they only know how to cut women's haircuts, but if that's the case don't advertise that you can cut both because you clearly can't. Again. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A MENS HAIRCUT...

My Experience: I called to book an appointment, which was very easy. I was willing to work with anyone on the team. When I got to the salon (I got there a few mins early), my stylist, Elsa, who I HIGHLY recommend, was right there at the door, ready to greet me and check me in. She immediately took me in to wash my hair! No wait at all (I've never experienced no wait! They are so organized). The hair wash is super relaxing and very thorough. The whole time, Elsa was gentle and made sure that I was comfortable the whole way through.
After she helped dry my hair, she sat me down and asked me a few questions about my hair and what I was looking for. I showed her a picture of my desired haircut, and she gave me a few options and thoughts on how we could make the hairstyle work. She was extremely attentive to ensure she had my consent on her ideas, and gave me several very helpful tips on how to style my hair based on my hair type, which is very thick. Elsa has the best attention to detail I have ever experienced with any hairstylist, while also working diligently but not too rushed.
At the end Elsa gave me more styling tips to make sure I could achieve the same look she gave me. She cares about you rocking your look past the salon and I never felt rushed at all! I know many of y'all have experienced "first haircut syndrome" where you first may dread your haircut and then you grow into it. I loved my haircut from the beginning, thanks to Miracle Hair Salon! The haircut cost $40 before tip, a price of which I felt was extremely reasonable given that I came in with very long, permed and damaged hair ($40 is how much my fiancé usually pays for his haircut at another salon and he barely has any hair cut cuz his hair is so short..) I will...

However some part came out as very small wave, and some part came out straight. And the hair looks too dry. The staff are friendly but did it too quick. I had expected more for this expensive price.
Follow up: I went there with my friend. Both of us made appointments for the perm service. My friend’s hair cut is a disaster. We went back for a refund/redo. One of the man dried my friend’s hair impatiently and only after drying a bunch of hair, he said” see, it looks good.” My friend argued that it is not. And then the man got irritated and said “ fine! I will give you refund.” However, at the gate, he said, “50%, we are done today.” We didn’t accept that and he told us we could call the police. I don’t why he led us that we but we kept arguing for 70% because I can see he finds the haircut not good as well but chose to lie to us. After a few back and forth the man went off with no reason, kept yelling “get out!” to us. Other barbers got frightened and came across us and I had explained we didn’t yell, it was the man. He did pass a full refund to us, which we didn’t ask for. I would suggest, ladies, elders, avoid this gangster. We hoped to pay for a nice hair cut or if not applicable, resolve the problem in a fair way but the man preferred to threaten people by yelling. If the man talked in a peaceful way, face the problem and solve it, we would like to pay. We were disappointed no matter he refund any more. This is the worst hair styling memory and I would warn anyone I know...
