First, I must give the back story as to how and why I decided to go to Dr. Kim. In August of 2016 I was in a major accident which messed up my back and gave me whiplash. I went to the Emergency Room and then got a lawyer. I went though the whole process and since the insurance didn't want to pay for a chiropractor, I went to physical therapy. They where great and tried to get me back on my feet they took care of the whiplash but my back still was messed up after three months. I told the therapist that my back wasn't 100% and was told that because of my age and weight that it will always hurt. Yes, I am overweight but I was only 35 at the time. Mind you my back never hurt like that before the wreck. So for my birthday I went on a cruise, and met an acupuncturist. He told me the story about his broken ankle and how the dr. told would take six months but it only took three weeks because of acupuncture. I was sold, and when I got back I started to do my research on the subject. Then came the financial part of it. I am single with no health insurance so my funds are limited. Which is why I waited until I could afford it. After 7 months I was able to start my research over and had decided to do an acupuncture and chiropractic care practice. During that seven months my back felt like fire. It hurt when I sat down, stood up, and laid down. Nothing ever seem to help but drugs. Which isn't how I wanted to live the rest of my life. I cried a lot because it felt like I was going to die. Thats when I found Dr. Kim practice. All the reviews where 5 stars, and I knew then that Yes Acupuncture and Chiropractic was the best fit for me. When I arrived they all welcome me with open arms. They are the sweetest people you will ever meet. During the consultation Dr. Kim said we are going to take care of you and get rid of the pain. Within 5 weeks my pain was gone. I could walk longer than 3 minutes at a time without feeling like someone set my back on fire. I could lay down and not feel like I was paralyzed, because if I moved my whole back would cramp up and the fire feeling would come back. I could sit down and not feel like my back was going to give out at any second. Needless to say I cried, but this time it was tears of pure joy. What I thought would be the rest of my life she made the pain disappear within 5 weeks. Dr. Kim and her team are amazing and so caring. Much overrated place. Had brain injury in one car accident, what caused my autoimmune system to overreact to this and every single joint was in pain because rheumatoid arthritis caused by stress what caused inflammation after two car accidents in one months. After first appointment with Dr. Park felt pain relieve for five days, next two treatments relieve only for two days. Tried Dr. Kim, and it turned into disaster. Couldn't move for half an hour after treatment, all neck and shoulders were locked in pain. She put me face down for an hour even she read my history, and she knew I was in pain all over my body. Although Dr. Park is very good at what he does, he manipulates treatment to keep you coming back. I had less and less needled every next treatment, like you supposed to pay for every needle. I had several other health conditions for many years and I'm not crazy, I know I have it, and he denied it. After experiencing horrible migraines for over two weeks, my only option was to look for other ways to find relief other than OTC medicine. I had missed a whole week from work because my migraines were so intense. One late evening I woke up in the middle of the night because the OTC medicine wore off and my piercing migraine came back.
