There is this one person that gives Bad vibes customer service for no reason . Hear me out the manager Steve is a very good warm-hearted person.. I love him dearly the food is amazing but this one person who have this cold-hearted bad customer service vibes towards me is unnecessary and petty. I can't.. if you hold grudges over something that I don't know about that's sad..I feel that other races beside a light skin black person get treated with outstanding customer service.. I've seen it with my own two eyes.. I'm just being real and I'm over it and this is what we go through within our own black community. I've been coming here for a while and the reason why I come back is because of the manager but this last one.... And yes some people may say my one sale won't hurt or break them it won't matter. I am over it. Every time I come here I be wishing that I don't have to interact with that certain person for whatever reason they feel towards me.. and what's so funny is a person come walk in or come after me and there's just start smiling and glowing like they won the lottery.. to me that feels like an insult like they don't like you just because and we don't need your service that's how I feel. I'm going to miss coming there cuz I love the food and I always tell people where I only get my Jamaican food from but I'm exhausted of the bad customer service vibes I just can't do it anymore. I went to Ovations Caribbean restaurant one time one day and no matter what they still get good customer service like it's authentic. Let me start by saying I Really hope these reviews weren’t left by real Jamaica’s. Customer service was okay, expected attitude and they got my order wrong. She told me no refund and I honestly didn’t feel like continuing to wait. I never in my life thought someone could mess up something as simple as a beef patty but they did couldn’t even take another bite. The dumplings In the soup taste like porridge and I think someone spilled some soap in the soup yes soap. The rice was so porridge like it’s two cups of rice to one cup of rice it’s not hard to cook. This is a disgrace and disgusting. As for the curry chicken I threw the meal away it just $28 ish I wasn’t going to to this to my family and I. They don’t wash the chicken, they don’t clean it and forget cutting it up and seasoning it. How do you mess up curry. This has to stop as a Jamaican I’m extremely offended and I blame the reviews because I trusted y’all. This store get 1 star and that’s because customer service was what I expected. If you’re in the mood to eat something that you will regret or not fully enjoy, or you’re the type that will eat anything then this is the place. If you’re looking for a good Jamaican meal that’s authentic and worth your money and taste buds this is not the place I REPEAT FIND ANOTHER RESTAURANT. I really wish I could have them remove Jamaica’s name from everything and just name it food place. Stop leaving reviews if you don’t have any taste buds and will just eat anything. I ordered the oxtail plate with rice & pease and lobster Mac& cheese. It didn’t take them much time to hand me my food. I had an idea it was going to be good because when I asked Stephanie (host at the register) what was good there and she said EVERYTHING but it was way better! This food actually had flavor & soul,You can taste the culture in every bite!

Pricing is very responsible/affordable for everyone’s budget and appetite. It may take me some time but I’ll probably end up ordering everything on their menu.
