Excellent prices, food, and service! The toppings are fresh and crisp. The sauces are all amazing, particularly the consomé with the Quesabirria. Pictured here are the Quesabirria and Small/Chico Birria de Borrego.
The Birria de Borrego lamb is very tender and bursting with flavor. There are many ways you could eat this -- I chose to eat this by spooning some into pieces of corn tortillas and adding various toppings before devouring. I love spice/hot and the peppers deliver a nice bit of heat without detracting from the flavor. The pepper sauces are great for adding a little more kick. I also took a few spoons of the lamb straight just because I could! This dish was phenomenal and you should be eating it right now.
I also got the chicharron gorditas, the corn flour shell was cooked well and the chicharron quite tasty (I got the salsa verde with it).
The Quesabirria is basically the dream child of a shredded beef taco and fried quesadilla deliciousness. The first time I got these, I ended up ordering more. The consomé compliments them perfectly, I also love to throw onions, cilantro, and smoked peppers in there, with a squeeze of lime. These will cause me to overeat every time.
The place is family run and we've had the owner's daughter as our waitress. She is very kind, provides excellent service, and helped me get my rolled 'R' pronunciations correct on the menu items!
So get your empty stomachs over there and enjoy some delicious Mexican food. Be aware, there is no large sign on the shopping strip - but you can see the logo on the windows and the parking spots...

We had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. We waited about an hour for our food, and during that time, we had to repeatedly ask for basic things like chips and drinks—both of which were forgotten until we followed up.
By the time our food finally arrived, we had already lost our patience. We asked for extra lime, and once again, it was forgotten. When I brought it up to another server, hoping it would serve as a training moment, she responded with attitude and a lack of professionalism. She later returned, sarcastically asking if the lime was “enough” before walking away laughing—which was completely uncalled for.
I wanted to support this Hispanic family-owned business, but the lack of attentiveness and poor customer service made it incredibly frustrating. My husband wanted to leave, and honestly, I wish we had.
Unless the management seriously improves their service, I cannot recommend this place. No one should have to beg for...
Read moreMy very favorite Birria Tacos restaurant. I go there several times a month. It is family-owned and everyone there is so friendly. I have been to many Birria restaurants in my area, but what I like about this one is the crispiness of the Quesabirria taco shells, the flavorful meat filling (I like beef the best), the consomme for dipping your tacos, and the various toppings that come with your meal, including onions, cilantro, radishes, pico de gallo, and lime wedges. The service is fast and your meal is always served with a smile. I recommend instead of having iced tea or Coke, try one of the traditional Jarritos bottled drinks that come in many flavors; my favorite is pineapple, and I love the mango as well. The guacamole is my favorite of any restaurant in my area. It is the PERFECT guacamole, with chopped onions, diced tomatoes, cilantro, and finely minced peppers (you get a choice of Jalapeno or Serrano peppers--which are hotter). There is a bar with a counter, as well as a large room that you can reserve for events or...
