Dollar General — Local services in Duncan

Store #00294. I'm visiting Duncan Oklahoma for Thanksgiving. This store is 2 blocks from my in-laws home. I have shopped there many times in each visit. I went into store this am. I was totally shocked at the condition it is in. The shelves were very empty. The floor is just nasty with trash!!! I have pics of all this. It appeared they had stock to put out. The female employee running the register, after being spoke to by a male employee, made the statement that she didn't care if the store got stocked or not. She appeared to be very frustrated, when the male went out the door. I am DG employee. I would be ashamed to say that in this...

I love the products that the Dollar General carries. I prefer them over other dollar stores. The reason for the poor rating is because the stores, all 3, that we have in my location are filthy all the time. They're not organized, the aisles are full of unopened inventory to be stocked. Other aisles are in disarray, clothing in the floor, dirty shelving. And - the employees are either outside smoking by the front door or they're on the phone complaining about their jobs as they're checking out customers. It's truly saddening that customer service & employee pride are not what comes to mind when I hear the words...

I went to the store today. When I tried to use my store coupon, the computer wouldn't take it. The clerk called his manager, and, in short, THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THEIR OWN COUPON!!! I don't know what's going on with this store, but I WON'T BE BACK!!! I want to remind this store manager; You lose your Customer Base the same way you build it. ONE AT A TIME!!!
