Always a decent movie playing. Prices are much lower than the fancy mega movie houses...
I have a Sister who lives in Duncan. So once a month my mom , me & the other sister meet up here. We've even had a few tag alongs. After wards we leave with happy smiles & jump around like preteen nerds.🤓
But like I said, It's not a mega fancy spot where everything's majorly over priced & your eardrums get damaged from the acoustics. It's just a simple little place with clean bathrooms & a decent snack bar. It has excellent popcorn that's not $12 a box or bucket plus they have decent candy's.
It's a place of a bye gone-era. You probably won't be seeing many like this for much longer. It's sad how Hi-tech everything seems to be paving over the nostalgic things. It's a great place that helped make some of my best memories It's a place you can bring your children too. You should try it so your little ones can see & feel the experience of what it was like when you were younger.
I know it's not for everyone but we find it nice, quaint & quiet a nostalgic place to sit back & watch a movie with family and / or friends.. 💕
If you're a person that grew up in the mid 80's to early 90's you'll definitely feel the nostalgia of that time Everyone should go here at least once to drink in the experience... 🤪. ,,,,,,,,,
Btw Duncan is a quiet little town with many cute new & old businesses. Not a bad town to visit & they even have a few touristy spots to learn about the "Chisholm Trail." If you're into history like me you're sure...
Read moreThe palace was awesome to allow Duncan Little Theater's Children's Theater to present "A Year With Frog and Toad" as they were unable to tour the schools to present the play this year as usual. The play was magnificent and the Palace even went so far as to open the concessions so that guests were able to purchase drinks and popcorn to go with the wonderful baked goods that were offered as part of a bake sale to assist DLT so they are able to continue to make the children's theater happen. Going to the Palace is always a treat and a wonderful experience, however I feel they went above and beyond 5 stars for continuing to serve the public as they have for many years. Kudos, and thank you from everyone who were able to share this fantastic experience today. Keep up...
Read moreThis place is awesome for what it is. You can't go into this theatre and expect the latest and greatest technology or best selection of snacks. If you go into this realizing you're going to experience that nostalgic experience of going to a movie theatre where popcorn reigns supreme and candy is never second best, then this place is the place for you. They only show 2 movies at a time and you still get to see it when it's new on the big screen. The prices are absolutely reasonable compared to those big named theatres. This place is the place to see a movie if you're on a budget and wanting to see a movie on the big screen either by yourself or with the family. The staff is great, friendly and service...
