I wish i could give -5 stars cause the employees in this store are terrible!!!! I went twice and had issues both times with 3 different employees (Crystal, Dee, & Juanita). The first time it was with Juanita and Dee I went on March 8, 2025 at 9:33 PM. OK, get to the register. Juanita rings up my stuff my total before my coupons came off was $27.60 after they came off was $25.20. Really it was supposed to be $20.20 because of the spend $25 get $5 off on saturday's. I said something twice about my coupon, not coming off that I have clipped in the app and since that didnât work, I had my paper coupon from the week before when I came to Dollar General she scanned that and it still didnât come off because when I got my receipt, itâs a different price than what I shouldâve been charged. so I stepped outside for about 10 minutes and add up everything about 5 or 6 times to make sure that I did spend over $25 to get the $5 off. So I come back in to see if I could get the refund of just the $5! Thatâs when Dee comes up and she tries to do the refund so then I just say âOK well can I just do a refund of everything and just do it over again?â Thatâs what she proceeds to say âoh you shouldâve said something before you paidâ so sheâs basically making it seem like itâs my fault I shouldâve said something which I did say something twice. They were about to close at 10 so Dee told me to come back the next day to get my refund. That same night at a different store about 25 minutes from my house got the exact same items and had no issues my total was $20.03! after all my coupons. I was told to come back the next day to get my refund. I come back the next day and I spoke with Crystal on March 9, 2025 at around 9:35 AM. I get there sheâs trying to say that âoh they did your return last night.â which makes no sense because why would I still have the items that I supposedly returned and got my money back forâŚ.thatâs called stealing why would I do that and come back to return the item for a second time. Then later she said âis everything here ? are you sure you didnât get charged twice?â I got threatened to get corporate called on me which makes no sense because I donât what that would have to do with anything. I could easily call 911 on them. I eventually got my money back. I get to the car and Iâm a dollar short. I was like Iâm not even gonna worry about it. I donât even care anymore. I just wonât ever come back to this...
   Read moreI do like shopping at Dollar General but they are times when they are boxes in the aisle and you cannot get through the aisles because of boxing everywhere things are not placed the way they should be you can't find what you're looking for they are they haven't got it out yet it seems like they have trouble keeping good workers I don't know if it's the issue with the pay or what it is but they're just not as good as they used to be the pricing is going up which is I guess because everything else is going up but mostly used to and I would go to Dollar Generals I had no problem they would clean stores shells were. And you can find what you were looking for now it doesn't seem to be that way it just depends on which Dollar General Store you happen...
   Read moreI personally think that it could be a little cleaner and more organized being that there are boxes not unpacked everywhere, but it seems like they're very understaffed all the time. I don't blame this on the staff. The daytime staff is exceptionally friendly the nighttime staff is pretty friendly but the only thing that bothers me about them is if you walk in at 10 till 9 they always seem to holler, "u have 8 minutes". I am in the customer service and retail business and I've never yelled that to a customer. I never go in there with any intentions on keeping them in their past their time of closing because I know how bad you want to get done and get home. If they could change anything I would say have the shelves stocked stop counting down...
