I personally did not have a great experience here, like everyone else in these reviews apparently has.. My boyfriend & I had two different appts here in mid 2021. After visiting a different chiropractor in the area today & discussing what happened here, I've decided to finally write this review, to let others know what to expect.. We were looking for a new chiropractor after moving here to SC & with the great reviews posted, we came to see Dr. Matt. Our first appt we were there for just a regular adjustment. We are accustomed to going to the chiropractor & sitting on the the table, at which point the Dr should adjust you until you're done & your spine is in the correct place. It really wasn't like that here, it was all about the 'ringdinger' or the different tables you can sit on to be adjusted different ways. Essentially none leading to a normal complete chiropractic adjustment. So with each table came a separate charge, which again is not anything that we have experienced before. Typically a normal chiropractor appointment doesn't break the bank, every Dr we've seen has been very reasonable. Like today, we went to a new place & we were both given great full adjustments which addressed every issue we had & it was $60 each. Plus this Dr agreed to charge us even less if we become regular patients. We were both adjusted on two different tables, but that was part of the visit cost, as it should be! We are uninsured, so price is a big deal. As it is for most people. Walking in to see Dr. Matt we anticipated a regular adjustment like normal, but he was essentially upselling us on different tables. Insisting you would get a better adjustment on this table or with the 'ring dinger', but then come to find out.. each table was an additional charge. So by the time we were paying the bill at the end & they said $500.. we were blown away & not prepared to spend that much on a single appt. It's not like there were x-rays or a super thorough exam either. We were both pretty out of whack, so leaving that appt we didn't feel much better. We were told it would be cheaper our next visit, we did come one more time. (Which was dumb of us) This time we seen the other younger guy that works there. He was a little more thorough, asked more questions & was very gentle. He did not attempt to upsell us on any tables, but still it was several hundred dollars for both of us again. To put it plainly, we cannot afford to pay this much for regular Chiropractic care & I don't really know who can? So be prepared when you are coming here for the first time, when that bill comes at the end.. I don't like feeling pressured in a Dr's office that I will only receive full & proper care if I want to buy all the 'extras'. It's not supposed to be this way, you should not need multiple 'tables' with upcharges, to give your patient a full adjustment. I was so bothered by how much we spent in two visits that I didn't do a review. After it was brought up today I realized it still bugs me that I feel we were ripped off & other people like us should be prepared. We were not expecting to pay that much money for either appointment, but you have to- when you're being handed a bill at the end. Great care does not have to come with a huge price tag. I drove 3 hours from NC to get treatment from Dr. Matt Tuttle on 8/19 and 8/20; four amazing adjustments over two days. I cannot adequately express how satisfied I am with the services rendered. I found Dr. Matt via YouTube and what you see from him on his channel is the exactly what you get. When I arrived, he immediately greeted me and knew my name, which is very important as a person in terms of making me feel welcomed. When we did the New Patient Exam, Dr Matt asked questions and did thorough tests to determine trigger point pain levels. He listened to me carefully as I gave background on what led to the conditions I'm in. My own physician could learn a thing or two from him. As far as my treatment went, Dr Matt was able to get movement in my upper back that NO other chiropractor has been able to do. I feel looseness and comfort in that area I haven't felt in years. I've been seeing chiropractors regularly since 2014. I was told by the others that my back was like concrete because they couldn't get a release. Dr. Matt proved them wrong. I have complete confidence that continued treatments with him will get other issues resolved. In terms of practicality, the price for the adjustments was well worth it. You get so much bang for your buck with the Full Body Adjustment especially when coupled with the Ring Dinger as opposed to a targeted area approach that my chiropractor in NC uses who wants to see me at least once a week without addressing other important issues. At Premier Chiropractic Solutions (PCS) their priority is to get you out of pain as quickly as possible without all of the prolonged treatment regimens. As someone with severe lower back and hip issues, my line of work presented ongoing challenges that took a toll on my physical well-being.
