Tastees — Restaurant in Duncan

1st time here for my wife and myself. For a good ole fashioned hamburger- this is your #1 place to go in Duncan. They know how to make an old school burger- nothing fancy like some places server, just a ole fashioned hamburger that my taste buds enjoyed. Paired ot with regular cheese bits amd old fashioned style cherry limeade, all of which hit the spot. Service was excellent. Anxious to try other things on the menu that I know will be just as good. We drove from 33 miles away just to eat here and man, it was so worth it. Been a long time since I ate a burger like this. We had a very good experience from entry to exit. We stopped in to Duncan for the weekend for a friends wedding and decided to try some of the local cuisine. We loved “Tastees” We got the steak strip basket w/ onion rings and the club sandwich The steak strips with the gravy were great. They were just like little country fried steak bites with gravy that your grandma would make. The onion rings just might be some of the best I’ve EVER had. The club sandwich hit harder than I ever anticipated. Usually you get 3 pieces of toast with some turkey, ham, & bacon. THIS ONE, had two large pieces of sourdough-type bread with a good amount of turkey, ham, and bacon and fresh shredded cheddar cheese….then they grill that rig....

Friendly service with a smile when they had time to breathe. Busy place. If you want AC then stay in your car because it is a very small place and the doors and the drive though window are open a lot, so the AC they have cannot keep up. But if you don't mind the heat then go in and get the service with a smile. You still get the smile at the drive though but not the same. I wanted a lattice wrap burger because I am gluten free but they don't have it because they lettuce is pre pages but they made me a burger salad and I asked for extra tomato and onions and they didn't even change me for the extra like most places do.
