My partner purchased 3 items at this store; one item being a headlight bulb. The next day, my partner went to return the bulb with receipt, the store refused to return as the package had been opened. My partner left. Later that week I had to go to another Autozone to purchase a battery and I spoke to the store manager at this location about the bulb and inability to return it. I had the bulb with me and the receipt the store manager agreed to take back the bulb and when trying to return the item, he saw from the scanned receipt that all items had been returned...... we did not return the items and felt that fraudulent activity had occurred. Meaning someone at the original store fraudulently returned the items and took the cash. The store manager explained and directed us to go to the original store to work out the return with that manager. We went to the store at 4885 Glaze Road and was directed to meet the manager who was not there. I then proceeded to call the manager, the district manager, and the regional manager and left voicemails with all 3. No one returned our call. A week or so later I called the store again and the manager answered. She instructed me to come in. Mind you this will be our 4th trip to this store. I explained to her the situation and expressed that we wanted to get our money back and we felt that criminal activity had potentially occurred at her store with possibly a store employee. We were concerned as the items had appeared to have been returned. She walked away and came back with the statement thatno criminal activity occurred and that the items had been returned, she then repeatedly asked if we had returned the items. I showed her the bulb and I showed her the wiper blades on the car to demonstrate to her that they had not been returned. I even offered to show her our bank draft to show her how the money had been debited but not credited. She said my partner would have to come down to the store since he had made the purchase and she also wanted to speak with him in person. I found this to be ridiculous over a 16 dollar item. My partner came down making this the 5th trip to this store. He was on his way to work and in a suit - The manager gave him the money back but treated him like he was the criminal, stating that no one at her store would have taken the money and kept asking if we had returned the items. She acted as if we were the ones committing fraud. After this I again called both the regional and district managers to complain about our treatment and the experience. I spoke with a lady at the regional managers office and she sssured me he would call me back to address the issue. And of course he did not, no one called us back. I have since destroyed both of our Autozone reward cards and will not return to any Autozone Store in the future. In this day and age where the big box stores are struggling to stay open and compete with internet sales you would think they would value and respect the customer and work to create that lifetime client. Apparently Autozone does not value that relationship or care about customers. They apparently think they can survive without customers and they have just...
Read moreI came to visit this Autozone location on Sunday 08/23/25 at about 1PM EST. I am so thankful for CHARLES (CAL) helping me install the battery for my mercedes this afternoon! He was so knowledgeable and patient with my daughter and I! He literally went above and beyond and I cannot thank him enough! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH CHARLES (CAL)!!!! The manager/supervisor (a small Asian male) on this shift, however, was extremely rude and unprofessional in how he approached Charles who was helping me out. He yelled at Charles loudly infront of me (a paying customer) and told him “GO CLOCK OUT NOW! YOURE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THIS!” When Charles told him that he had only been helping me install the battery, the supervisor/manager told him to “get inside! You are not supposed to be helping them”. I was shocked at how such a pleasant experience I had with Charles assisting me could change and become so negative that quickly. It’s not like Charles was doing anything unprofessional, he was literally helping me change my car battery. I am not sure of the manager’s name but was just astonished at how reckless and disrespectful he was speaking to a fellow employee IN FRONT of a paying customer. The manager didn’t apologize, didn’t pull Charles aside to tell him. He literally came all the way outside where my car was yelling for Charles to get off the clock and to stop helping me. I had already spent $300 at the store by this time, mind you. Please teach your managers/supervisors on how to act more professional and polished when speaking to others, customers and employees alike. I was literally SHOCKED at the disrespect coming from the Asian guy (manager). I have sense learned that the manager’s...
Read moreMy husband stopped by the Roswell Autozone the other day to buy 2 air filters for our car. They didn't have one of the filters in stock, so they confirmed that the Dunwoody store had it. The clerk told my husband he could purchase both at the Roswell store and then stop by and pick up the filter in Dunwoody with a printed ticket they gave him.
When my husband reached the Dunwoody store, he was given a horrible runaround and the clerk there was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She wouldn't allow him to pick up the part and wouldn't make any effort to call the Roswell store. My husband called back to the Roswell store and they weren't able to do anything to help. So, he ended up paying for the filter, again, and was told he would have to drive all the way back to Roswell to get a refund on the first purchase.
There is just no excuse for poor customer service. My husband had been instructed on what to do and was given the necessary documentation to pick up the part. If the Roswell store made a mistake, the clerk at the Dunwoody store should have done whatever she needed to make sure it was taken care of and not treat my husband like he was doing something wrong. We ended up driving all over the county for something that was not our mistake or issue. Needless to say, we will not frequent this store, or any other Autozone for that...
