Hope Valley Commons — Local services in Durham

Harris Teeter is the anchor store here, & I thank them for having designated parking spaces set aside for veterans.

Also in this shopping center is a locally owned birding store called Outdoor Bird Co. They carry a wide variety of feeders, bird & bat houses, & wind chimes - and most of the items are US-made. They also sell a variety of wild bird foods.

Lots of shops and resturants, Harris Teeter, Walgreens, and many restaurants like Chubbys Tacos, Trefonoi Pizza, and well what's always been their and once was the ONLY food near by, Burger King! Free parking but some stores enforce customer only parking so stay aware of that, each store has it's on bathroom polices, some public, some just for patrons. It does have wheel chair accessible parking but each store is responsible for accommodating the need for proper entrances, seating and rest rooms. This used to be my #1 Teeter, but we moved and have found another that we frequent.

I happened to be in the area and popped in. The store is still filled with a lot of nice employees and a good selection of things on sale this week.

Having been to the one up the road that is a remodeled Kroger, I can say Hope Valley Commons is still the better store. The staff here is my main reason for saying this.
