Iām concerned that I may have made a mistake switching over to this Walgreens for my prescriptions. I used Kroger for over a decade but they no longer take my insurance. So I switched. With Kroger, I only had one day delays on insulin orders.
Walgreens not only has longer wait times, but even when trying to be proactive, I still run out of insulin and it seems like no big deal to most of the staff I talk to about it.
Then, they fill a partial order. The problem with partial orders is that I would have to make four half hour trips (going to and from the pharmacy) to get the full prescription. Thatās 100 miles of driving to get insulin. (because Iām from a small rural community).
I like the convenience of using an app to request refills and keep up with prescription updates. But, I just donāt see why it takes a week or more to get the insulin in. Especially when the Walgreens supplier is an hour and a half away, they are open everyday, and receive...

Nobody thought to actually CALL and talk to someone in my Dr office. Time and time again the pharmacy at walgreens has failed to follow through on certain prescriptions being filled. Kayla said to me over the phone that they are super busy. That's a lame excuse for putting off a patient that is in need of diabetic supplies. Had I known they would have ONLY sent a fax to my doctor, I would have called the doctor office myself. The lack of customer care is repetitive as noted by reading other reviews on this particular Walgreens. Nobody wants to follow through or complete the task that is promised. Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible Store. Went there for a covid test and had a 10 am appointment. The directions on the website said to be there 5 minutes early, however they didn't open until 10. We waited until 10 and got the pharmacist Karen that gave us a nasty attitude and told us to use the other lane and hung up on us. Nobody else was there so we moved over then had to wait another few minutes for the pharmacy tech who told us to go park for 20 minutes so they can get the paperwork ready, then continued to complain that the covid testing process is not set up by corporate and they are not staffed properly to do the testing. Once the wait was over, it was somewhat better but will never go back to that store again. Never had such a horrible experience at a Walgreens and would definitely recommend CVS or even a crack dealer...
