Something Special — Local services in Easley

Every time I walk into this store, the employees look grumpy, never, and I mean NEVER say a simple hello, or can I help you, nothing. Yes, they have cute home decor, but they’re way overpriced. It’s not a handicapped friendly store, it’s very tight and there is an upper level with 3 steps, that a handicapped person could not access. Their clothing looks cheaply made and is extremely expensive. There was an item I had a question about, there were two women standing at the checkout counter, I said, “excuse me, I have a question about an item”, I was ignored by both women, and there were no customers at the counter, I asked again. They never looked up at me, and one walked over and pointed to the item I had a question about, and she had an attitude as if I were bothering her. Never once, have I walked into this store and had a friendly welcome from any staff member. It seems they have their own little click of people they serve and any other customer is totally ignored. Sadly, this store doesn’t follow their name, they aren’t Something Special, they are overpriced, rude and not welcoming...

I went to Something Special Home and Fashion Boutique looking for a cardinal for my 2 year old great great nephew. I have two cardinal lights that he loves to carry around when he visits. It’s a locally owned store that has been around for a minute. The ladies working in the store were friendly and helpful. The store was beautifully decorated for the holidays, and they had several different kinds of cardinals. There were nativity scenes, decorated trees, scented candles, decorative pillows with cardinals, just about anything you could want to decorate your home for the holidays, and to just decorate your home period. Something Special also has women’s clothing. You can also get a lot of ideas on how to decorate your home, just from the displays they have. Right now they have a 30% off sale on Christmas items, I can’t say for certain that it doesn’t include things that aren’t Christmas.
