I installed a PTZOptics 30x NDI camera (and CAT 5e cable) in our church a little over 2 years ago and we love it! Being able to remotely control pan, tilt and zoom from the church office on the other side of the building made live streaming any (or all) of our services possible. We have a sound booth in the back corner of the auditorium but there is not enough space in it for any other equipment or people! I am looking forward to getting their latest MOVE SE model as soon as our budget allows. This will allow me to sit back and concentrate more on the service and what is being said than trying to focus on the singers' or speaker's movements to keep them in the view...
Read moreI have worked with the PTZ 30X-NDI on countless livestreaming events. They are super impressive pieces of equipment. My favorite thing about it is the ability to transfer power, picture and control all over ethernet, reducing the amount of cables to only one! Of course, you have to get the joystick! The joystick has excellent customizability for controlling the speed and fine controls of the PTZ functions, as well as picture settings. Ive been very satisfied with PTZ Optics equipment and I look forward to trying the new MOVE SE PTZ camera, especially the tracking ability, which should be very interesting...
Read moreI think that PTZ Optics is an affordable option that brings good not great image quality into the picture. This is not a negative review... I do believe some of the high end ptz cameras have an amazing image quality and flexibility that you have to pay for (10k plus)... PTZ Optics is completely usable for those on a budget or working on government projects... I prefer equipment that I can afford and get a quality end product out of over getting a little better image quality at the sake of not being able to afford the other stuff required for...
