Workout Anytime Ellijay — Local services in East Ellijay

I’ve been a member of multiple gyms over the years (due to re-locating), and I’ve never had the experience I had here. I’m new to the area and joined this gym less than a year ago, mainly due to the convenient location. The gym is small, but it does have the majority of the equipment you need. Unfortunately, the environment isn’t welcoming. I always felt like I was being watched and judged by other members. Two men in particular made me extremely uncomfortable, so uncomfortable that I cancelled my membership and went elsewhere. The manager did call me regarding my concerns, and I was told that the owner would be addressing the issue. I believe action was taken because I’ve seen the individuals at my new gym. Regardless, I still wouldn’t recommend this gym, especially to beginners. In addition to the two men, some members work out in groups (which is fine), but they sometimes stand around talking, blocking free weights and machines. The staff I interacted with were kind and friendly, but the overall atmosphere...

This is by far the most horrible gym in Ellijay! I was a member at a different gym for a couple of years that had far better staff, fellow members, equipment and space. I thought I’d give this place a shot considering my fiancé was a member here and we love working out together. First, the space is too small for the amount of people trying to get in a regular workout at the end of the day. Second, the equipment is outdated as well as there is a lack of what I’m used to using. Third, some of the staff is so hateful and rude.There is no clear explanation to hours that are staffed and un staffed. The atmosphere is so uncomfortable. There are "regulars" that watch you and are bossy which is very strange. I have never encountered a place where others are more involved with someone they don't know than doing their own workout. I will be canceling this membership and going back to my old gym. My suggestion do not waste your time...

Of all Facilities I’ve been to over the years this one by far Has exceeded my expectation. Every gym should mirror it’s self after this team. The owners, manger, and trainers are all professional and super friendly. Each of them going above and beyond their job titles to keep a clean, tidy, professional nice equipment, and Energetic environment. Unlike most gyms, The camaraderie here’s the best part. Take my advice and don’t even consider anywhere else if your looking for a place to get good results. Form young to old these guys are here to help and cheer you on while your doing it. No need to go to other gyms that make you feel uncomfortable or out of place, when this gym here will take you in as a friend from your first tour. Big Bang...
